A Little Japan at Bang Saen: Bang Saen Toshin 🍡🎌
I went to Bang Saen for the weekend, listing down all the places that I could capture the beautiful moments in photograph. And Bang Saen Toshin was on my list. 📸
Bang Saen Toshin really surprised me! It feels like stepping into a mini Japan 🇯🇵✨ with the cute street setups, Japanese-style decorations, and lots of photo spots 📸. Perfect for those who love snapping aesthetic shots or just strolling around to soak up the vibe.
There are plenty of food stalls too 🍜🍢 – from matcha drinks to takoyaki, all giving a little taste of Japan right here in Bang Saen! I had so much fun exploring the shops and enjoying the calm, cozy atmosphere 💕.
If you’re looking for a chill, photogenic place that’s not too crowded, this is a perfect quick stop. Definitely a good spot to walk, eat, and take some cute photos! 🎏🍵📷

Monkey Madness with a View 🐒🌅 – Khao Sam Muk, Bang Saen
If you're heading to Bang Saen, don’t miss Khao Sam Muk Viewpoint — it’s one of those places I had to revisit every time during my six-month stay. I went to Bang Saen three times, and yep, this spot made the cut every single time!
What makes it special? The sweeping ocean view from the hill is a real treat. Whether you’re driving up or stopping at one of the lookout points, it’s a great place to take a break and enjoy the breeze. 🌬️🌴
But let’s be real — the stars of the show are the monkeys! 🐒 They’re everywhere, climbing trees, sitting on railings, or casually walking across the road like they own the place. You’ll spot locals and visitors alike feeding them bananas, and you can join in too — there are banana stalls along the way where you can grab some to offer. 🍌
Some even feed them from inside their cars, just slightly rolling down the windows. But watch out — these little guys are clever! They might try to follow you or even hang onto your side mirrors. It’s funny and chaotic in the best way 😂
Khao Sam Muk isn’t just a viewpoint — it’s a whole vibe. A mix of sea breeze, monkey business, and laid-back hillside charm. Definitely one of my favorite parts of Bang Saen every time I go.

Waking Up to the Waves – A Peaceful Escape at Marina Seaview Bangsaen 🌊
Stayed 2 nights at Marina Seaview Bangsaen — and honestly, it’s all about that view 😍. Waking up to the sound of the waves and an oceanfront sunrise 🌄 is just magical.
There’s no breakfast buffet 🍽️, but they offer flexible options, which was great for someone like me who doesn’t eat pork or beef 🐟🥗.
The room was clean 🧼, cozy 🛋️, and well-kept — perfect for a chill escape.
Only drawback: no elevator 🚫🛗, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs 🎒.
But for the view and calm vibes alone, it’s 100% worth it! ❤️

Bangsaen Toshin (Japanese Street) 🇯🇵🍜
You might actually think you've time-traveled to Japan when you step into this street! This area is fantastic for a stroll, packed with Japanese snacks, coffee shops, desserts, izakayas, and Japanese restaurants. For delicious and affordable Japanese food, look for the restaurant with the Maneki-neko (waving cat) – it's a real gem!
Bang Saen Beach Itself ☀️🚲
While the sand might not be the finest, you'll get a great feel for the local atmosphere of a smaller Thai town. The beach has lounge chairs and a food market on both sides.
You can rent a bicycle by the beach, feel the sea breeze, watch the sunset, and really soak in that slow-paced life you can't find in the city. It's the perfect way to unwind!

Sunset Wonnapha Beach 🌅
If you ask where to watch the sunset in Bangsaen, besides the beach, what other places would you like to recommend?
Wonnapha Beach is one of the first places we would like to recommend. With its chill atmosphere, the beach is full of chill-out spots, food carts, and even beautiful cafes.
You can walk out of the cafe and continue to take pictures of the sunset. The white seats along the beach are also very stylish. You will definitely get beautiful, clean pictures.
For those who are tired of the crowds at Bangsaen Beach, we think Wonnapha Beach is another option for watching the sunset by the sea. It is very beautiful!
