The Taipei Zoo Station years in extraordinary diversity of wild animals. From panda bears to ferocious African wild hyenas in Taipei zoo is a must see when you are in Taipei Taiwan. it’s easily accessed by the BR train line as it is the last stop. They also feature an incredible rainforest environment with tropical birds and fish species straight from the Amazon jungle. Most importantly, the animals seem well looked after and their enclosures are large and suitably made to match their native habitats. With a total area of 165 hectares, if you intend to visit all of the enclosures, it would take you most of the day. An 800 meter climb up steep iron steps will lead you to one of the most impressive places you'll ever see. Atop the Wat Chalermprakiat, you'll be above the clouds and can enjoy a 360-degree view of the mountains and Lampang's green landscape. all I can think about is how did the monks do this every single day? How was all of those materials brought up there to build this temple in the first place? It is truly a remarkable sight to behold. There are no words to adequately describe this most incredible temple which is 2400 feet up in the mountains of Lampang Thailand. Better to have good shoes and be in shape as this is a serious hike. This is by far and large one of my favorite temples in all of Thailand and most certainly in Chiang Mai. This 14th century Buddhist temple and pilgrimage site, known locally as Wat Doi Suthep (and pronounced “Doy Soo-tep”) is located within Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, about 40 minutes outside of Chiang Mai.  The stunning architecture you see in the photos are even more incredible when you visit this temple on the mountain. I would never let my children sit on the lap of THIS Santa clause. Would you? 😂😊 I guess the elves were on vacation because when I visited North Pole Alaska they had already left. This town is called North Pole but, obviously it’s not up in the north pole but you’ll find it in northern Alaska. Atown boasts a very enchanting Santa Claus workshop, a Santa senior center and they wonderful gift shop filled with Christmas decorations and ornaments and all presents for sale. Bondi Beach has some of the most unique rocky cliffs where the ocean meets the continent of Australia with power and fury. Jekyll Island has always been designated for the super rich from the beginning of the founding of the United States.  When General James Oglethorpe settled the colony of Georgia in 1733, he soon after claimed and named Jekyll Island in honor of his friend and financier, Sir Joseph Jekyll from England. The island had been previously known as "Ospo", meaning island of the whales, coined by the native Americans who recreated on the island for fishing and hunting. #jekyllisland. located in Jackson Mississippi the Lorraine hotel is the site where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. This marked very difficult time in the history of the United States and the preservation of this site is of the utmost importance. Jackson Mississippi has been the scene of many civil rights movements throughout history for the United States. just a few miles from Kalamazoo Michigan it would surprise you…. I never would’ve guessed that lake Michigan offers such beautiful beaches. muskegon State Park is directly on Lake Michigan which is one of the biggest of the Great Lakes. Enjoy yourself at this incredible park as you can have picnics, play beach games or just lay down in the sun and enjoy the calm water, peaceful breeze and the lake view. remember the great lakes are freshwater not saltwater like the oceans. The Prairie Homestead, an original sod home of Mr. & Mrs. Ed Brown, was built in 1909. It is typical of the homes and outbuildings that pioneers built. This home is one of the last remaining original sod homes intact today. These pioneers played a very important part in settling the Great Plains. every part of this Homestead offers a glimpse into the history of the pioneers who traveled across the Prairie land to settle the west. you can practically hear the covered wagons and the horses as these brave pioneers cross the prairies amidst Indians and dangerous wildlife. Stratovolcanoes erupted in western Utah between about 40 and 25 million years ago. but, Utah was much closer back then to the pacific plate and today we see evidence of this in the form of lava fields sprawled out over hundreds of miles. it’s important to note that cars are not allowed up at the scenic areas and you must hike to each of these mountains. Some are easy some will take all day. but, this was a lot of fun for me as I spent the night camping in the mountains. The John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park features artwork by 22 of the world’s most celebrated artists. The 4.4 acre park, located within a major crossroads of the urban grid, creates a pedestrian friendly entrance way to downtown Des Moines. This accessible setting, coupled with the skilled landscape design and caliber of the art, makes it unlike any other sculpture park in the United States. The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, on April 19, 1995.Perpetrated by two anti-government extremists, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the bombing happened at 9:02 a.m. and killed at least 168 people, injured more than 680 others, and destroyed more than one-third of the building. Each one of the illuminated gravemarkers represents a victim….. The smaller ones are for the children. One of my favorite things to do is drive from Anchorage Alaska through Canada and especially through the northern rocky mountain range into Washington state. I’ve done this epic drive many times and the scenery is always fabulous. Wild Canadian Bison travel from the snow-covered tundra onto the roads to make their migrations easier. The Kenai Fjords National Park is an American national park that maintains the Harding Icefield, its outflowing glaciers, and coastal fjords and islands. The park covers an area of 669,984 acres (1,046.9 sq mi; 2,711.3 km 2) [1] on the Kenai Peninsula in south-central Alaska, west of the town of Seward . this is one of the most picturesque areas in Southern Alaska. Perhaps the only other experience that rivals parasailing from the summit of Hatcher Pass is the drive there. located around 90 minutes from downtown Anchorage Hatcher Pass it’s truly a once in a lifetime adventure. You will pass an abandoned mining town on your way there…. it’s still has the field of gold prospectors panning the many rivers. hatchers Pass is open year-round but the summit is closed during winter. You can access this amazing part of the Talkeetna mountain range. Welcome to the sunny side of the Big Island. Particularly the incredible and forever memorable Waikoloa beach. Waikoloa Beach is located just north of Kailua Kona on the west side of Big Island. Waikoloa beaches are calm and an ideal location for snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming or just sunbathing. During certain times of the year you will inevitably encounter a sea turtle or two. The water here is crystal clear and shines turquoise and deep blue in the almost perpetually daily sunshine. Personally I was driving but, you will find public transportation easy to access, inexpensive and convenient. to go to the Redwoods national park I suggest hiring a touring company.
