Ngorongoro Crater, located in Tanzania, is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world. The crater's terrain plunges dramatically about 600 meters at its center, surrounded by steep cliffs that form a natural wall, isolating this land almost completely from the outside world and fostering a unique, self-sustaining ecosystem. Thanks to its abundant water sources and vast grasslands, the crater attracts a large number of herbivores, making it a paradise for predators like lions and hyenas. For prey, however, this place might feel like the border between heaven and hell. Despite the natural barrier-like terrain, the annual Great Migration in Africa does not reach here, preserving the most pristine and complete wildlife ecosystem. Inside the crater, you can encounter four of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the extremely rare black rhinoceros. Black rhinos are particularly precious due to their scarce global population. Even though they are massive and resemble tanks on the savanna, spotting one still requires a bit of luck. Day 3 safari: Serengeti National Park another 8 hour trip exploring one of the greatest wilderness area; Serengeti National Park (14,750 km²). said to be the habitat of 500 species of birds & 300 species of mammals we are still not lucky to witness the National Geographic kinda action of animals chasing & feasting each other. but we spotted leopard, simba, pumba the wild hog, more zebras, giraffe and more animals The Serengeti is one of those places I dreamt of visiting and happily, it more than lived up to my expectations. Entry is a $20 donation, and you can adopt a baby elephant for $50. Tip: Visiting hours are limited (11am–noon)—arrive at least 30 min early to beat the traffic! We visited Pilanesberg National Park via Kwa Maritane Game Reserve and were thrilled to spot a leopard, rhino, elephant, zebras, and numerous bucks. The park is well-maintained, offering spots for meals, drinks, and bathroom facilities. The hides allow peaceful wildlife viewing.
