Insider tip in Paris’ center: Palais Royal
The Palais Royal is a must-visit attraction in Paris. The former French royal palace is located in the first arrondissement and not far from the famous Louvre Museum.
It’s the perfect place for a short visit and also suitable for families with children. It’s even allowed to take a dog into the courtyard.
You will be amazed by the beautiful arcades with its columns as well as by the typical black and white striped pillars.
The impressive facades of the Palais Royal offer many different perspectives to take breathtaking photos. If you want to enjoy the place for yourself and have less people in the background when you take a photo, make sure to come early because the courtyard is rather small and fills up pretty fast.
It is open from 8:00 AM until 8:30 PM from Monday till Sunday.
