Getting Lost (Happily!) in Azabudai Hills, Tokyo! 🇯🇵🗼
#summervacay
I totally get what you mean about Azabudai Hills – it's a bit confusing to navigate, but absolutely fantastic to explore! I heard it was designed by the same architect as Shanghai's Qiantan Taikoo Li, which makes sense given its chic vibe.
Staying in Minato Ward, getting to Azabudai Hills in Chuo Ward was a breeze by subway. I just took the Hibiya Line and got off at Kamiyacho Station, then looked for elevator S2 to head up to the 34th floor for the incredible Tokyo Tower view. I grabbed a coffee for around ¥1400, and with that view, it felt totally worth it!
The real must-sees for me were on the lower levels. The Hills Market is awesome, and I found the "world's best bread" – you'll know it by the long queue! There are also lots of niche perfume brands, cool furniture stores, and I even spotted a United Arrows, which just opened in Shanghai too.
So yeah, you might get a little lost, but that's part of the fun. It's definitely a place where getting turned around leads to more great discoveries!

Visited Suitengu Shrine this spring and was completely charmed by its peaceful atmosphere and lush greenery. Located in Tokyo’s Chuo Ward, this historic shrine is well known for blessings related to safe childbirth and fertility. It’s been cherished since the Edo period and still draws many visitors, especially expectant mothers and their families.
The main wooden hall is beautifully crafted and surrounded by a tranquil, refreshing vibe. On a sunny day, the green trees and soft breeze made the whole experience even more relaxing. It’s a lovely spot to slow down and feel a bit of calm in the city.
