A Taste of Calm at Bite of Life Café, Malacca
Dropped by Bite of Life Café tonight and honestly… what a vibe! From the moment I stepped in, it felt like time slowed down. The place is so cozy and full of character — warm lights, rustic charm, and just the right music playing in the background. 🎶✨
Ordered something light but full of flavour, and every bite felt like a gentle reminder to slow down and just enjoy the moment. Nothing fancy, just real good food made with heart.
Malacca is full of hidden gems, and this one’s definitely worth bookmarking for your next chill dinner. Trust me, your soul (and stomach) will thank you. 🙌🍝
P.S. Don’t rush your coffee. Sit back. Breathe. Life tastes better this way.

Malacca's Ghost Ship: The Flor de la Mar
Malacca is steeped in history, and nowhere is this more evident than at the Maritime Museum. Here, you'll find a stunning replica of the Flor de la Mar, a legendary Portuguese galleon that met a watery grave in the Strait of Malacca.
This majestic vessel was once the pride of the Portuguese fleet, carrying immense wealth plundered from the Sultanate of Malacca. Its tragic demise, laden with treasure, has fueled countless legends and treasure hunts. While the real Flor de la Mar remains lost to the depths, the replica offers a glimpse into the ship's grandeur and the era of maritime exploration.

Seafoods' Heaven: Alaa...Kassim Ikan Bakar Restaurant in Malacca
This place is heaven for all seafood lover out there! This restaurant located in Taman 1 Lagenda in Malacca city served various type of seafood. The sitting area also really nice, peaceful especially during night time. You can either sit at the outdoor area or inside the restaurant and still can watch sunset around 7pm.
Among all the menus that we ordered, the one that stood out the most to me is Ikan Siakap 3 Rasa. The fish meat is so juicy and fresh! It also cheaper than any seafood restaurant I've been so far. We spend RM155 for 5 pax, including rice and beverages! Definitely worth a try!

The iconic Red Clock Tower
#malaka The Malacca Red Clock Tower or Menara Jam Merah Melaka.
📍Located in the middle of iconic red square of Banda Hilir of Malacca, the Tan Beng Swee clock tower or famously known as the Red Clock Tower.
👉🏻 Actually this clock tower is not built by any of the colonial power, despite the surrounding are the historic buildings or remnants. However instead, the clock tower was built by a rich Chinese family in remembrance of their patriarch, Tan Beng Swee.
👉🏻 The clock tower still functions well and it will chime every hour of the day. Now become the famous place for photographs.

A must visit to Taming Sari Tower🤩
#malaka Menara Taming Sari or Taming Sari Tower is one of major attraction in Banda Hilir, the historical city of Malacca.
I must say that it is a wonderful experience!🤩 for me to enjoy the panoramic views across the city center at the highest peak of 105m or 24 floors! The 360 view through the Taming Sari Tower lasted for 7-10minutes.
👉🏻Since there is only one tower, so on weekends or school holidays will be crowded with visitors and long que to get into the tower.
Suggestion: buy from Klook apps rather than purchase at walk in counter so you can skip queu and can get discount via Klook apps.
There is limited parking near Taming Sari Tower so it’s better to book e-hailing car (Grab or Taxi is famous here).
Ticket price: Adult RM17, Children RM11.
👍🏻 Worth the visit! Different panoramic views during the day and night.

One of the better cafes in Malacca. It was a hot day and we decided to take a break from the sun for coffee.
We order their cakes and famous pastry to try. Even at late noon, there were many customers in the cafe.
The cake and pastry were really good. We also enjoyed their coffee as well. The cafe was decorated nicely and a good place to chill.

Finally got onto the boat and did a cruise of Malacca River. Could have done in the evening/night when the weather would have been more welcoming and cool - instead , it was in the afternoon - it wasn’t extreme but hot. Nevertheless, it was fun and exciting. Maybe, next trip, will do this cruise at night and see the beautiful night view of its attractions and to enjoy the breeze … ❤️ #malaccacity #malaccatrip #MalaccaRiverCruise #vacay
