So happy with my long weekend trip. Thank you Air Asia for the very punctual flights. I got to be with my loved ones on time despite the season being very busy. I got to enjoy the SM's biggest indoor amusement park in the Philippines, #Fantasyworld, in Fairview as well as a day tour in Tagaytay's famous amusement park #Skyranch, also the famous bulalo at Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine and at got to see the picturesque of Taal Volcano . I also enjoyed the food crawl at the city's Chinatown. This trip was very blessed with good weather and less traffic in Metro Manila. Tar Volcano - a volcano among volcanoes Tagaytay is a popular tourist destination in the Philippines (I would say even Filipinos would choose this place for a weekend getaway😮) The most famous thing in Tagaytay is to see the beautiful views of Taal Volcano Taal is the shortest active volcano in the world🌋 It’s also the only active volcano in the world in the middle of a lake (it seems). I guess a volcanic lake slowly formed long ago after the big volcano burst Then it exploded again in the middle, forming the "little volcanic island" (?) in the middle 🤯 (Geography experts please advise 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏼) I googled the photos, people used to climb the island of Taal volcano, and there is another volcanic lake in the middle😮 When I was doing research, I felt a little surprised just imagining it😂😮 But it is always an active volcano🌋, and in recent years there are signs that it will explode at any time😱 There was a strong explosion in 2020. In addition to nearby residents who had to evacuate, schools and work were suspended, even takeoff and landing flights were all suspended😳😳😳 Then to last year, even April-May this year there were still some steam eruptions detected 😱😰😰 The local government has declared it a permanent danger zone. It is now strictly prohibited to go to the island. Getting there: It is easy to locate through waze and it surprisingly has a wide space for parking however, since a lot of people come and go, you would be lucky if you can easily get a spot. Parking is free is haven’t overstayed for more than 2hrs which is their time limit for dining in to ensure a lot of people will be accommodated. Make sure to have it validated after you have ordered your food and the cashiers will be the one to do that. Make sure to set your time and present it when leaving the place. The Place: It can get very busy so expect for longer wait times outside the cafe and for food to be served. On the bright side, they really have very nice interior and very good lighting perfect for Insta post and stories. You can also choose for indoor and outdoor seating 👌 Also get excited because they have wide variation of desserts and bread, hot and cold drinks to choose from. And that’s it! #safetravels
