#springwander 📍 location: just above Taormina, Italy If you think you cannot do the hike from Taormina that's okay. There is a way to reach this little beautiful village by public transport. You can grab the bus from the bus station, and the company name of the bus is Interbus. The ticket is only 1,90 euros or if you prebook it in advance online - 1,50 euros. And it takes only 15 minutes!!! How do I know this? I got tired from hiking up 😆😂, had to grab the bus on the way down, or I wouldn't have survived! The village is pretty and like any other city, spring 🌼🌱 is the best time to visit! It is located in a hill which you'll need to climb and it takes roughly an hour by foot. 📍Address: Palaiokastritsa 490 83, Greece During summer time the weather is very hot 🥵🥵 therefore make sure to bring a lot of water with yourself. Before you enter the monastery they provide you clothing for the women to cover their shoulders and legs, as due to religious reasons otherwise is not allowed to enter. #voyagevibes We were visiting family in Brussels and decided one of the days to go on a day trip to Bruges. One day is enough to see plenty. We weren't very lucky as the weather was funny. One minute it was raining, the next was sunny. We weren't sure what to make of it. Therefore if you are going to Belgium in September, be prepared for unexpected rain! We walked around town exploring without a set goal in mind. We saw Belfry of Bruges (very beautiful building)#myhiddengems , the church called Church of Our Lady, another church called Basilica of the Holy Blood, and lots of shops with Belgium chocolates. 😋 I recommend the trip only if you have not much to do and wonder where else you could go. #traveldiaries There is so much to do in Bedford, however of course one day is more than enough! While it was still sunny ☀️ and nice we went to the Priory Country Park, which is half an hour away on floor from town centre. There were plenty of walking groups around, some joggers, some families with their little ones. The vibe was so homey and friendly. We had a booking at The Swan Hotel for afternoon tea. We had our booking in Anna's Tearoom.... Magnificent! #myhiddengems I recommend to anyone to book in advance and have this experience. The food is yummy 😋🤤, the restaurant area is so well decorated. It is not something you would expect to see, when you look at the hotel from outside. After the tee, snacks and few cocktails, we walking around the river. If you have a Railcard you get the cheaper prices which does not cost much. This Sunday my partner and I were wondering where we could go that is not too far away from London and started checking online nearby towns and cities. Google spit out Bedford. It is a beautiful ❤️ lovely small city and it is easy to reach! 💞Reasons to Recommend: There is a river cutting across the centre of the city and all the local people are very friendly. #naturelovers Everyone who loves hiking must visit this place at least once in their life. We grabbed a train from Athens to the small village called Kalambaka that sits right next to these magnificent rock formations. The hike takes between 2-4 hours depending how often stop. As we kept stopping to enjoy the views and take endless photos, you can imagine it took us 4 hours. If you use the little roads to hike, hidden between the trees it is faster instead of following the main road where the car passes. We took those little pathways and the good thing is the forest provided us a shade in the hot weather, so it made the hiking much easier. I took a walk in the town centre and autumn 🍁 vibes it gave were mesmerising. All the locals seemed to be busy with their own daily tasks, apart from one person whom I spotted to be taking photos of pigeons. P.S. I did confirm with the person if it was OK to post their photo. She agreed!! Apparently, pigeons in this country symbolise love Now I understand why she was taking endless photos of them. After the walk, I went to take a walk near the river Dunabe, where the sunrise was lovely.
