Lebanese Court Restaurant - Eye-opening grilled meats and spices
My highlight is the Maison du Mezze Ultimate Mix Grill, which is an excellent combination of grilled meat and spices and really opened my eyes.
Chicken Skewer, Lamb Skewer, Chicken Kofta, Lamb Kofta
The kebabs are made with three kinds of meat: chicken, mutton and beef, while the Kofta is made with two kinds of meat: chicken and mutton. The mutton one has nuts as filling and comes with four mutton pies. The pie is crispy and the lamb is tender without any fishy smell, but it is still very delicious.
The chicken, beef and mutton skewers were grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of fire. The meat remained moist and tender, and even the chicken was juicy, which shows that the ingredients used are of high quality. The chicken rolls and mutton rolls were unexpectedly delicious.
But the best thing about this restaurant is the seasoning, the spices are light but not bland, strong but not vulgar. It is a layered flavor of spices. It is not the stimulation you get at the first sip, but it slowly emanates from the inside, a bit like the front, middle and back notes of a perfume.
Fattoush
This Lebanese vegetable salad is a unique salad. The foreign waitress pours each side dish into a large wooden bowl in front of the guests, adds various seasonings and mixes them evenly, and finally pours it on a large plate and serves it on the table, which is full of ritual.
The salad portion was huge and it took two people many tries to finish it. The ingredients are rich and fresh, including lettuce, tomatoes, parsley, mint leaves, pomegranate seeds, cucumbers, mint leaves, sesame chips, etc. The taste is very refreshing, and it feels more appetizing the more you eat.
Chargrilled Octopus Tentacles Octopus Tentacles Garlic Sun-Dried Tomatoes. The charcoal-grilled octopus tentacles are thick but very tender. The chef cooks them with garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, which is very fragrant and tasty.
