Visiting the Nine Arches Bridge in Ella was one of the highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka. Tucked away amidst lush greenery and rolling hills, this iconic bridge is a masterpiece of colonial-era architecture and a must-see for anyone visiting the hill country. I reached the bridge by taking a short, scenic walk through a quiet jungle path and tea plantations. The trail itself was peaceful and beautiful, giving me a real sense of Ella’s charm.
