🌴 Sharm El Sheikh Vibes: One Week of Clear-Blue Relax & Walk-Everywhere Fun
Landing on the Sinai felt like switching YouTube to 4-K: the Red Sea is so transparent you spot rainbow fish right from Novotel Sharm El Sheikh’s beach jetty. The hotel itself is bright, spotless and quietly stylish—think white arches, palm shadows and fresh mango juice for breakfast.
Trip Highlights
Day 2 – Culture Circuit
• Peace Square for the iconic “I ♥ SHARM” sign.
• The grand mosque in the Old Market and a nearby Coptic church—warm smiles, kids high-fiving strangers, zero pressure. Egyptians here really make you feel like family.
Day 4 – Down Below
A first real dive! Dropped into turquoise silence and floated past lionfish, parrotfish and a curious turtle. Seeing the reef inhabitants eye-to-eye beats any aquarium.
Evenings – Promenade Crawls
Hardly needed taxis: Naama Bay promenade is pure pedestrian freedom.
• Hard Rock Café – my first time in this rock-‘n-roll temple: loud riffs, juicy burgers, priceless guitar memorabilia.
• Kokai – cosy Chinese spot; generous plates and change from €15.
• Souvenir stalls overflow with pharaoh magnets, cartouche necklaces and alabaster scarabs—ancient Egypt meets beach town.
Good-to-Know
• Weather check – Late March evenings are breezy; bring a light jacket. Prime sea temperature hits in May–June.
• Water shoes – Coral starts right at the shoreline; spare your feet.
• Cash tips – A few Egyptian pounds unlock even bigger smiles from waiters and beach attendants.
• Walk first, haggle second – Prices drop 20–30 % once you greet vendors with a friendly “salaam alaikum”.
Seven days, zero stress, no traffic—just reef colours, evening strolls and genuine hospitality. For an easy walking holiday with world-class snorkelling, Sharm is hard to beat. 🌞

ATV driving in Sinai Desert 🗺️
#desert
I had an exhilarating time ATV riding in the Sinai Desert! 🏜️ Located near Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, this adventure is a must for thrill-seekers. For around $60, I got a two-hour ride through the stunning desert landscapes, with safety gear and a guide included. The vast, sandy expanses and rocky terrain made for a thrilling ride as we sped across the dunes and navigated rugged trails. 🚀
The experience started with a brief safety briefing and practice session, which helped ease any nerves. Once we were out in the desert, the guide took us on an exciting route, offering plenty of opportunities to push the ATV to its limits. The highlight was reaching a high viewpoint, where the panoramic views of the desert were absolutely breathtaking. 🏜️
Nearby, you can explore the historic St. Catherine's Monastery or take a camel ride for a change of pace. Both offer a fantastic way to soak in the unique desert landscape. 🌄 The combination of adrenaline and stunning scenery made this one of the best adventures of my trip. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a memorable desert experience! 🚀 #trip #ATVRiding #SinaiDesert #SharmElSheikh #DesertAdventure #EgyptTravel
Sharm El-Sheikh: A Chill Escape with Diving & Desert Vibes
#citypassguide #egypt #sharmelsheikh
After visiting several intense cities in Egypt, I spent 4 nights in Sharm El-Sheikh to relax and try diving. Days here are quiet — most people join tours or relax in their resorts. At night, the streets come alive.
🏖️ Safety & Arrival
Sharm is located on the Sinai Peninsula, considered a safer region than mainland Egypt. On the bus from Cairo, we were stopped 4–5 times for security checks. Locals were questioned more thoroughly, but tourists had no issues. The trip took around 7–8 hours instead of 5 due to these checkpoints.
📍 Places I Visited
* Old Market: Great for shopping local crafts, spices, and souvenirs. The large mosque here is only 10 years old but very photogenic.
* Farsha Café: One of the most iconic spots in Sharm. Come around sunset or when the lights are on for the best vibe. Earlier in the day is best for taking photos without crowds.
* Naama Bay: The heart of Sharm’s nightlife. Restaurants, cafes, and bars stay open late. Be aware — some cafes might sneak entertainment fees into your bill.
* Sinai Grand Casino: Casinos here offer free drinks if you play small games. Even $5–10 can keep you entertained.
🤿 My First Dive
I tried scuba diving for the first time here and loved it! The underwater life was vibrant. I paid $25 for the full experience, including a boat trip to White Island. More people = cheaper price. Photo packages cost extra.
🌊 More Things to Do
* Ras Muhammad National Park – Great for snorkeling and coral reefs
* SOHO Square – A modern area with shopping and nightlife
* Shark’s Bay – Relaxing beach with clear waters
* Nabq Protected Area – Perfect for nature and birdwatching
* Mount Sinai – Hike for sunrise or sunset views
* Safari & Bedouin tours – Unique desert experiences
Sharm is perfect for unwinding, diving, and exploring nature with ease.
Culinary Paradise of Egypt in Spring

Naama Center in Sharm El Sheikh Egypt is a great attraction with lots of shops and cafés. The place is huge and well spaced out. You can do lots of shopping here and also dine in at cafés. It is a good spot to walk and have a nice outing in spring. You must try shisha here if you like it. The cafés have local folklore and performances which makes it interesting. All in all, this place has a nice vibrant atmosphere in evening. Good option to visit with family in spring for sure.
