Bang Lang Dam, clear and refreshing water
This trip is so much fun! 🛶💦 Take everyone to soak in the cool water at Bang Lang Dam, Yala Province. The atmosphere is very chill. The water is clear and cool. It's perfect for families and friends.
The highlight is the big raft in the middle of the dam. Play in the water until you're soaked. There are slides, floats, and life jackets. Even those who can't swim well can play without worrying. Everyone from children to adults will have fun. Laughter can be heard throughout the dam.
The surrounding view is lush and green. Trees line the rows. The wind blows cool. It's like being in the middle of nature. This place is perfect for those who want to escape the chaos and recharge with nature.
For those who are looking for a fun place to visit in the South, don't forget to pin Bang Lang Dam on your list. You'll know that sometimes happiness is just cool water and the smile of the person next to you. 💙✨

Sydney | Blue Mountains Day Trip 🏞️🚞
#summervacay
Transport:
It takes over 2 hours from Central by BMT, so I chose to join a one-day tour instead for convenience! 🚌
Must-visit spots:
Lincoln’s Rock 🪨
Blue Mountains & the Scenic World Cableways 🚡
🔥 Red Cableway – Highly Recommended!
Out of the three cable cars, this one is by far the most fun! With a steep incline of 52°, it’s actually built on the old coal railway tracks. The ride is short (about 3 mins), but totally worth it! 🎢
💛 Yellow Cableway – Great Views!
Features a glass-bottom floor, so you can look straight down into the valley! You’ll also get amazing views of Katoomba Falls from the left side. 🌊🌄
Suggested route:
Red or Blue Cableway ⬇️ down to the valley → walk through (coal mine entrance, ventilation shaft, miner’s hut) 🚶♀️⛏️ → Red or Blue Cableway ⬆️ up → take Yellow Cableway across → see Katoomba Falls 💦
‼️ Note: No toilets down in the valley. There is a drinking fountain, but I still recommend bringing your own water. 💧🚫🚽

Wuxi’s Cherry Blossom Forest – What a Find!!
I honestly didn’t see this coming. I’d heard whispers about the cherry blossoms in Wuxi, but nothing prepared me for what I walked into. It was like someone had quietly painted an entire hillside pink — not just a tree here and there, but a proper sea of blossoms stretching as far as the eye could see.
And dare I say it… even prettier than Japan. There, I said it.
The light breeze, petals drifting through the air, winding paths under arches of bloom — it was honestly magical. I’ve done hanami before, but this felt different. Calmer. Quieter. No selfie sticks in your face, no crowds jostling for a shot. Just space to breathe it all in.
It almost didn’t feel real — more like something out of a Studio Ghibli film than an actual afternoon in Jiangsu Province.
If you’re ever near Wuxi in spring, make time for this. It’s hands-down one of the most unexpectedly beautiful places I’ve seen in China. Proper heart-stealer.

Gwalior Fort: Where History Echoes Through Stone
Perched majestically on a sandstone hill overlooking the city, Gwalior Fort is one of the most awe-inspiring and storied forts in India. My visit to this architectural marvel wasn’t just a sightseeing stop — it felt like walking through a living museum, one that carries the weight of centuries with dignity and pride.
What struck me first was the sheer scale. The fort rises like a guardian over the city, its imposing walls stretching over 3 kilometers. The moment I entered through the massive Urvai Gate, flanked by intricate rock-cut Jain statues, I felt the centuries peel away. This isn’t just a fort; it’s a chronicle in stone, with stories of dynasties, warfare, poetry, and devotion etched into every brick.
One of my favorite spots was the Man Singh Palace, a blue-tiled gem built in the 15th century. The mosaic of turquoise and yellow tiles gleaming under the sun was unforgettable. Inside, the echoing corridors and hidden passageways fired up my imagination — what conspiracies and romances might these walls have witnessed?
Equally moving was a quiet moment at Sas Bahu Temples, where delicate carvings revealed the artistic soul of the fort. And then there's the Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhor Sahib, a serene place with deep spiritual significance.
Best Time to Visit? Without a doubt, plan your trip between October and March. The weather is pleasant, perfect for walking around and taking in panoramic views of Gwalior city below.
Insider Tip: Wear comfy shoes — there’s a lot to explore on foot! Also, don’t skip the light and sound show in the evening. It’s a magical retelling of the fort’s history against a starry backdrop.

Rediscovering History at the Majestic Red Fort
Wandering through the grand arched gateways of the Red Fort in Delhi feels like stepping straight into the pages of Indian history. On my recent visit, I was struck not only by its sheer architectural magnificence but also by the overwhelming sense of legacy embedded in every red sandstone wall.
The Red Fort, or Lal Qila, is more than just a monument—it's a symbol of India's rich past and enduring spirit. Built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it once served as the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. The intricate carvings, marble inlays, and vast courtyards whispered stories of royal grandeur and political drama as I explored.
What mattered most to me was standing at the spot from where the Prime Minister of India addresses the nation every Independence Day. There's a quiet power in knowing that this isn't just a tourist attraction—it's a living piece of history still woven into the fabric of modern India.
The best time to visit the Red Fort is during the cooler months, between October and March. The weather is pleasant, allowing you to soak in the views without the fatigue of the scorching sun. Arriving early in the morning gave me the added bonus of fewer crowds and softer light for photographs—highly recommended!
Insider Tip: Don't miss the Light and Sound Show in the evening. It beautifully narrates the fort’s storied past and leaves a lasting impression. Also, plan a stop at the nearby Chandni Chowk for some local street food and shopping.

A Colorful Walk Through Culture – Exploring Chinatown, Singapore
My journey through Chinatown, Singapore was a vibrant dive into heritage, flavors, and hidden stories waiting around every corner. From the moment I stepped out of the MRT, I was surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors, buzzing street life, and the rich aroma of traditional foods.
I wandered past historic shophouses with beautifully preserved facades, each telling a tale of Singapore’s early Chinese immigrants. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, with its intricate architecture and spiritual calm, was a stunning stop that left a lasting impression.
Of course, no visit to Chinatown is complete without indulging in the local eats. I sampled mouthwatering roast meats, chewy dim sum, and a nostalgic bowl of bak chor mee at a bustling hawker stall. The Chinatown Complex Food Centre is a foodie haven!
What I loved most was the blend of old and new—modern cafés tucked beside herbal medicine shops, indie boutiques alongside goldsmiths. It’s where tradition meets trend, and every alley has something to discover.
Chinatown isn’t just a place—it’s an experience full of life, culture, and authenticity.

Desert Dreams at Gardens by the Bay – A Cactus Wonderland
Who knew you could experience the charm of the desert in the heart of tropical Singapore? During my visit to Gardens by the Bay, I discovered the enchanting cactus collection inside the Flower Dome—and it was a total surprise!
This section, known as the Succulent Garden, showcases a stunning variety of cacti and succulents from arid regions around the world. From towering saguaro cacti to rosette-shaped echeverias and quirky barrel cacti, every plant had a unique personality. The sculptural forms, bold textures, and earthy tones made this area a visual delight.
I was amazed by how these hardy plants were artfully arranged against sandy landscapes and rock formations, creating a desert oasis that felt both surreal and serene. It was a peaceful escape from the lush greenery elsewhere in the dome—a beautiful reminder that even the harshest environments can produce life and beauty.
If you're visiting Gardens by the Bay, don’t skip the cacti! They offer a whole new perspective on botanical beauty.

If you’re ever in Oita and looking for a unique, heartwarming experience, I highly recommend a day trip to Tsukumi Dolphin Island to swim with dolphins. Nestled along the quiet coastline, this small fishing village offers an unforgettable encounter with nature.
The dolphin swimming program is thoughtfully run, with friendly staff who are passionate about marine life and conservation. Before getting into the water, we received a short but informative briefing about dolphin behavior and how to interact with them respectfully. Safety and the well-being of the animals are clearly a top priority.
Once in the water, the magic truly begins. Swimming with these intelligent, playful creatures was a surreal experience that we will never forget. The dolphins were curious and gentle, often coming up close, and we even got to touch and play with them under the guidance of the trainers. The water was calm and clear, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy the moment.
The village of Youra itself is peaceful and scenic—worth exploring if you have some extra time. It’s not overly touristy, which makes the whole experience feel more personal and authentic.
Tips:
• Book in advance, especially during weekends or holidays.
• Swimsuits and life jackets are provided, so no need to bring your own.
Overall, this was a perfect one-day trip that combined adventure, nature, and a bit of local culture. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for something a little different in Kyushu, Japan.

From Sunset Bliss to Castle Views: A Taste of Greece’s Hidden Treasures
#europetrip
From the sunlit shores of Zante Island to the historic charm of Nafplio, my Greek journey was a feast for the senses. In Zante, I was greeted by one of the most breathtaking sunsets imaginable—fiery hues dancing across the ocean horizon, leaving an indelible mark on my travel memories.
As I made my way to Nafplio, the town’s allure captured me instantly. Perched majestically above, the Palamidi Castle stood like a guardian of history, offering sweeping views of the town and the sea that stretched endlessly beyond. Exploring this fortress was a step back in time, filled with stories that echoed through its ancient walls.
But the adventure was not just about sights—it was a culinary revelation. Nafplio gifted me with the best Greek grill I’ve ever had: tender, savory, and infused with authentic Mediterranean flavors. To my surprise, I even discovered the best Chinese food I’ve tasted in Greece, offering a perfect taste of home amid my travels.
This trip was a harmonious blend of spectacular sights, rich history, and unforgettable flavors. Greece continues to astonish with its diverse offerings and warm hospitality. If you ever plan a journey that promises awe-inspiring views and unparalleled gastronomy, make sure Zante and Nafplio are on your itinerary.

📍Nubian Village, Aswan, Egypt 🇪🇬
Everyone knows about Egyptians, but what do you know about the Nubians?
The Nubian civilization has a history dating back to 2000 BC and is situated in the Nile River Valley, encompassing regions of northern Sudan and southern Egypt.
Today, modern Nubians primarily reside in the areas of Aswan and Kom Ombo.
Traditionally, Nubian villages are found along the banks of the Nile River.
However, in 1963, the completion of the High Dam under Abdel Nasser’s leadership led to the displacement of 135,000 Nubians from 44 villages.
Sadly, many ancient Nubian monuments now lie submerged at the bottom of Lake Nasser. Some temples were rescued, thanks in part to the efforts of the “Nubian company” and UNESCO.
For example, the Philae Temple relocated to an island, and the Abu Simbel temple moved onto a man-made hill.
🐊In Nubian culture, it was believed that hanging the body of a crocodile over a house’s door could protect its occupants from the evil eye.
🎨One distinctive feature of Nubian villages is their vibrant houses, constructed from mudbrick and adorned with bright colors.
🚕 You can get to the Nubian village by taking a taxi or a tour from Aswan.

📍 The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt
‼️Read this and make your trip to the Giza Pyramids more comfortable
Of course, this is Egypt's main attraction, and it will always be crowded.
The best way to explore the pyramids is to stay overnight in Giza and arrive early in the morning (it opens at 7:00). As a bonus, you might be able to see the light show from your window.
Thin are toentrat one is eithe the site, tae, facing the
Pyramid of Khufu.
Choose which one you're most interested in and head to that entrance.
Crowds gather quickly, especially after tour buses arrive around 9:00.
❌Also, it's better not to plan your visit on Friday or Saturday, as these days often see Egyptian school trips.
🎫 Entrance ticket: 300 EGP (~$10)
🎫 Inside the Pyramid of Khufu: 600 EGP (~$20)
All tickets can be bought only at the entrance counters and only with a card, cash is not accepted.

📍 Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), Chiang Rai, Thailand
The White Temple is a stunning and contemporary Buddhist temple known for its unique white exterior and intricate design. It was created by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and is a significant cultural and tourist attraction.
Most things in the temple have hidden meanings and some cool pop-culture references! Definitely very unique.
🕗Open every day from 08:00 to 17:00
💵 Entrance fee is 100 Thai baht (~$2,5)
Tips for visiting:
🚁No drone zone: Flying drones in the temple's area is strictly prohibited without permission. Don't give tourists a bad reputation by ignoring the rules and trying to fly your drone out of sight.
🥻Modest dress code: As with many temples in Thailand, it's important to dress modestly. Avoid shorts, sleeveless shirts, and low-cut tops. They check pretty strictly at the entrance.
➡️Follow the direction of travel: You can only cross the bridge at the entrance once. Security was telling people off over the loudspeaker when they tried to cross back. It's also against the spirit of the place, you are only supposed to cross hell once.
👟Footwear: You'll need to remove your shoes before entering the main temple building, so it's a good idea to wear easy-to-remove footwear.
📸Arriving early doesn't really help here: There was already a queue at opening time. You're better off just lining up to cross the bridge if you want to get your perfect photo.
I hope this is helpful!

Get out into nature
As I write this Autumn is fast approaching, so why not get out your walking boots and smell the fresh air!
Kinver Edge Forest is a ridge and hill fort overlooking red sandstone rock houses. Within Kinver Edge there is a pocket of wilderness that buzzes with life. From the sound of the trees whistling in the wind, to the bats flying about at night - it all comes alive!
What’s more, there is ample green space and benches to sit around and soak up this natural wonder. Many people like to bring a picnic, walk their dog and generally walk the different trails of Kinver Edge.
If you get chance, check out the Holy Austin Rock Houses whilst you’re there!
📍Kinver Edge, West Midlands
💰It’s free! Just get yourself there - note there is no public transport to this.
🍔 There is a small cafe onsite located at the south of the forest park as well as other local eateries and pubs nearby.

Most magical island resort in Kota Kinabala
🤩With views stretching across the South China Sea, and where the silhouette of Mount Kinabalu can be seen on a clear day, this place was just awesome and far exceeded my expectations!
It was quiet, secluded and felt like paradise - oh take me back!
⛵️The resort has it’s own jetty providing the speed boat transfer from the main island to Gaya island. And if the weather is good, you will have a wonderful 10 minute ride across the sea.
