Jaras – Thai restaurant by the sea, Phuket
🌿✨ Jaras – A premium and sustainable Thai restaurant by the sea in Phuket!
If you are visiting Phuket and want to try a delicious Thai food experience with an eco-friendly concept, we recommend Jaras, a Thai restaurant in InterContinental Phuket Resort on Kamala Beach. Here, they don’t just make delicious Thai food, they also care about local ingredients and the environment to the fullest by using ingredients from the community, such as black-chinned tilapia and local water mimosa, to create chic dishes that are both flavorful and meaningful.
🥢 A must-try menu item is the Southern curry noodles made from black-chinned tilapia, soft noodles that go well with the spicy, rich southern curry soup, with a truly authentic and spicy flavor. Or try the catfish miang, which has a perfectly balanced flavor.
🦀 Another favorite menu item is the giant blue crab curry, served in a crispy pancake, or the squid in black ink, which is full of flavor and design. It’s both eye-catching and mouth-pleasing at the same time.
🏖 The atmosphere of the seaside restaurant looks good, airy, and relaxing, but is also luxurious and beautiful, perfect for a special meal. Whether it's a romantic or family dinner
💚 The most impressive highlight is the restaurant's determination to use local ingredients to their fullest potential and meticulous cooking. Every dish is like a work of art, and it also helps save the world.
📍 Location: InterContinental Phuket Resort, Kamala Beach
⏰ Open 12:00–22:00
If you want to change the atmosphere and eat Thai food with a story and premium taste, try Jaras. I guarantee that you will be impressed and want to come back again! 💯

Saneh Jaan – A Refined Celebration of Thai Flavours Worthy of Its Michelin Star
If you’re looking for a Michelin-starred Thai dining experience in Bangkok that marries elegance, authenticity, and impeccable service, Saneh Jaan is it. Tucked away in a polished corner of the city, this gem lives up to its accolades and then some. I found it while browsing the Michelin Guide for Thai cuisine, and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The entrance alone gives off an air of understated grandeur. Inside, the restaurant strikes a beautiful balance between modern refinement and traditional Thai elegance, with thoughtful spacing between tables that adds a sense of calm and privacy—ideal for a relaxed, intimate meal.
The service was exceptional. We were attended to by a server named Duan (hope I got that right), and she truly elevated the experience. Her warm demeanor, deep knowledge of the menu, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel not just welcome, but well taken care of. She guided us through the menu confidently, answering our many questions and suggesting highlights with genuine enthusiasm.
One standout was the blue swimmer crab curry—rich, aromatic, and layered with flavor. Even my friend, who usually shies away from curry, couldn’t stop praising it.
Overall, Saneh Jaan delivered a lunch that was memorable in every way—from the sophisticated setting and polished service to the perfectly executed dishes rooted in Thai tradition. Reservations are strongly recommended—it’s a popular spot, and for good reason.

Farm-to-Table Excellence: My Sustainable Culinary Journey at Saawaan Bangkok
#earthdayjourney #thaifinedining #foodjourney #travel
From the moment I entered, I was immersed in a world where traditional Thai flavors met fine dining innovation. Each dish told a story, not only of the chef’s remarkable skill but also of the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability. What truly stood out was Saawaan’s dedication to sourcing ingredients locally. The chef, Sujira “Aom” Pongmorn, personally selects the freshest produce from organic farms, ensuring that each ingredient is both sustainable and of the highest quality. This direct relationship with local agriculture not only supports the community but also minimizes the carbon footprint. Dining at Saawaan was more than just about exceptional food, it was an experience that honored Thai culinary heritage while promoting environmental consciousness and local farming practices.
If you are ever in Bangkok, try this out!
