The Letdowns: ❌ Impersonal Service – Except for the friendly housekeeper, staff at reception and breakfast service felt indifferent and robotic. No warm welcomes or proactive assistance. ❌ Breakfast at The Coffee House – Decent spread but mediocre execution. Expected fresher ingredients and more attentive service for the price. ❌ Soulless Vibe – The hotel lacks charm or a distinct personality—feels more like a business hotel than a destination. Final Verdict: A practical choice for travelers prioritizing location and cleanliness, but don’t expect Shangri-La’s signature warmth. Ideal for short stays if you’re out exploring most of the time.
