It was considered a cathedral until 1838, when the city’s cathedral was transferred to Sé Nova. From that date in 1838 it was considered merely a parish church; nevertheless the architectural style was varied, although its Gothic imprint had not disappeared. The construction details are exquisite and the craftsmanship is impeccable. Its structural hierarchy is very much from the late Southern European Renaissance, but there is a great line and ease to the way it is assembled to the base of the backrest system. All in all the building is brilliant, even though it has been overwhelmed by the disorderly modern urban layout. #LondonAttractions The dazzling golden decorations and exquisite and elegant architectural design of Brompton Holy Trinity Church make people feel as if they are in the exclusive palace of a royal aristocrat! I subconsciously touched the wall beside me, hoping to feel some magical power of God, but was almost glared at by the sharp patrolling nun. Fortunately, I apologized to her in time afterwards and barely saved my life. Later I joined the ongoing mass ceremony. Although I felt a little uncomfortable with the way of worship, looking at the devout believers, I couldn't help but be infected by their enthusiasm.
