Argentina-Ushuaia🇦🇷Go to the island to watch penguins up close
🔸You don’t have to be afraid of wind and waves and take a 2-day boat trip to Antarctica to see penguins. You can also see penguins in Ushuaia.
🔹On the uninhabited island of Isla Martillo, you can see two species of penguins, the Gentoo penguin and the Magellanic penguin, at very close range. When I went there, there happened to be a lost king penguin.
🔸Under the guidance of the tour guide, you can reach the island by taking a speedboat for dozens of minutes.
Keep a few meters away from the penguins and take pictures of them in different postures.
You are required to disinfect your shoes before and after taking the speedboat to avoid bringing viruses to infect the penguins.
⚠️Do not feed the penguins
⚠️Don't chase the penguins
⚠️Don't touch the penguins
⚠️Just go to the tourist center to sign up for a local tour. It's easy to form a group, but you can't go alone.

Argentina-Ushuaia🇦🇷The king crab tastes great and I will try it again and again🦀
🔹If you haven’t eaten king crab in Ushuaia, it’s like you haven’t been here, because the king crabs here are not only very huge, but also very cheap and taste very delicious.
🔸After searching for a while, I finally found this restaurant. I randomly chose a seat and sat down. Then I looked at the huge glass tank and told the staff that I wanted to eat small, medium or large size crabs. The staff spoke Mandarin and would show me the crabs after fishing them out. They also asked me how to cook them. I wanted to taste the most original flavor so I chose steamed crabs.
(You can hold the crab and ask the staff to take a photo)
🔹After waiting for more than ten minutes, it was brought to me. It was so hot that it smoked. It was my first time eating it, so I was a bit clumsy. However, the staff was very friendly and patiently taught me how to eat it. It tasted very delicious and juicy, and the texture of the meat was very suitable. It was unforgettable for me.
🔸So I ate here twice during my short stay in Ushuaia. It was really a good deal. In Hong Kong, it would cost at least $1,000 for one, but here it only costs more than $400 Hong Kong dollars.

One of the landmarks of Ushuaia, Argentina, the "Lighthouse at the End of the World"
🔹Located in the Beagle Channel connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in Ushuaia, there is a 10-meter-high red and white lighthouse standing on the reef.
The lighthouse is called "Faro Les Éclaireurs".
🔸It is the last lighthouse on the south side of the American continent. Further ahead is the South Pole, which means that coming here is like reaching the end of the world, so it is also called the Lighthouse at the End of the World.
🔹This lighthouse also appeared in the movie "Happy Together" by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai.
🔸You can often see many sea lions and birds like penguins basking in the sun on the reefs
🔹It is one of the landmarks that cannot be missed in Ushuaia.

Argentina🇦🇷Ushuaia can't miss the Museum at the End of the World
🔹The Maritime and Prison Museum in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, was converted from an abandoned prison.
🔸The museum consists of 3 parts: the Maritime Museum, the Prison Museum, and the Art Museum, all of which are actually located in a huge prison.
This prison is very unique. It is shaped like an octopus, with the middle as the center and 6 passages extending out. Each passage is a prison of about 4 or 5 square meters, with a small window of 10 square centimeters and some information about the Antarctic expedition team.
In addition, there is a coffee shop and a souvenir gift shop.
🌟It is very worth visiting and buying.

Argentina 🇦🇷The train at the end of the world🚂
Ushuaia, located at the southernmost tip of the Tierra del Fuego island in Argentina, is considered the southernmost city in the world; there is a railway there, so it is also called the "Train at the End of the World".
🔹In the late 19th century, the Argentine government built a prison in Tierra del Fuego. This place is isolated from the world and it is basically impossible to escape.
🔸The railway was originally built with wooden tracks; in 1909, it was upgraded to steel narrow-gauge tracks and used steam locomotives to pull trains, mainly used to transport prisoners, timber and firewood.
At that time, all the people responsible for cutting and transporting wood were prisoners here, so this forest railway train is also called the "prisoner's train."
🔹Until the prison was closed in 1947, the train that was used to transport prisoners was also stopped. The authorities then converted the railway into a tourist destination and renamed it Southern Fuegian Railway.
🔸The railway is about 22km long and offers beautiful scenery along the way, with snow-capped mountains, forests and lakes in full view.

Strolling in Buenos Aires
After finishing the trip to the three islands of Antarctica, I took a domestic flight back to Buenos Aires this morning. Having experienced endless queues at AEP airport last time, I arrived at the airport three hours early this time. During check-in, I specifically chose a window seat on the left side at the back of the plane so I could enjoy the view of the Andes Mountains and the beautiful town of Ushuaia after takeoff. The three-and-a-half-hour flight passed quickly, and the plane landed at AEP around 2:30 PM. Every time I take an Argentine airline flight, the passengers always applaud enthusiastically after landing, showcasing the passion and liveliness of South American people, a scene you would never encounter on Asian routes. Taking a bus from AEP airport to the city center is now a piece of cake for me. When I checked in at the hotel, I was surprised that the owner still remembered me. After putting away my luggage and freshening up a bit, I headed out in short sleeves and shorts to the Pacific Gallery Shopping Center to buy souvenirs. It's the height of summer in South America now, although it's also summer in Antarctica, the temperature there feels around zero to 5 degrees Celsius. This trip can be said to have experienced all four seasons. I bought a Messi No. 10 jersey, which is the most representative souvenir of Argentina.
Argentina 🇦🇷 Board the nearest hotel to the Antarctic cruise terminal
🔹This hotel can be considered to be located in the heart of Ushuaia;
🌟It takes about 5 minutes to get to the pier where you will board the Antarctic cruise ship
Summon a car to the airport, the journey takes about 10 minutes
Money changers and supermarkets are about 15 minutes’ walk away.
There are also many restaurants nearby, very convenient
🔸The hotel provides heating. I always wear shorts in the room. The room is clean and tidy, and the wifi is fast.
🔹The staff knows a little English and are very friendly and polite

Visit the Ushuaia Maritime and Prison Museum
Ushuaia is one of the main entrances to the Antarctic continent. It is only more than 900 kilometers across the Drake Strait and is also the closest city to the Antarctic continent. This time, I bought a great value ticket for the Antarctic Islands through the "Let's go to Antarctic" travel agency. I was lucky to have upgraded from the originally booked triple room to the single room. I also met many small people during this trip. Partners, leave a beautiful memory of traveling to Antarctica together; Ushuaia is known as a small town at the end of the world. In addition to the well-known Tierra Tierra National Park, there is also the "Marine and Prison Museum" that is worth visiting. This prison was established by the early colonial government to exile criminals to the end of the world to open up wastelands. Since 1902 AD, prisoners have built the prison body by themselves. The original plan was 4 0 prison cells, until 1920 AD, a total of 380 prison cells were built. During its heyday, more than 600 criminals were held, most of whom were life-long prisoners. They came here to engage in various labor work. There is still a section of about seven kilometers of trains in Tierra del Fuego National Park (now run by the Southern Railway Company for sightseeing purposes), which was also paved by these criminals. , Deforestation of forest wood was used to build the main roads, buildings and bridges in the town of Ushuhuaia; at that time, those criminals came to this cold and isolated land. Even if they escaped from prison, if no one responded, they would definitely die of death on the way; there was a river in Tierra del Fuego, which was named after the escape from prison and was found to die of death on the bank of the river. The name is very meaningful. I highly recommend that you must arrange a visit in Ushuaia!
