Bang Kachao: Bangkok's Hidden "Green Lung" — So Healing! 🌳🌿
#summervacay
On this trip, we decided to slow things down. Instead of the usual frantic pace of rushing from one sight to another, we quietly stepped into Bangkok's green lung: Bang Kachao, also affectionately known as "Pig's Stomach Island" due to its shape.
We visited Bangkajao Craft, where we learned the art of bundle-dyeing with plants and making Thai essential oils. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like friends and meticulously sharing every story and detail. What truly touched us was how down-to-earth and sincere the people here are; they don't treat you as just another tourist there to consume.
On this little island, far from the city's hustle and bustle, it felt as though all worries could be temporarily set aside. Time seemed to slow down, allowing us to reconnect with the warmth of life and the healing power of nature. It was a truly rejuvenating experience.

A Hidden Perfume Lab in Bangkok 🇹🇭: My Custom Scent Story
Bangkok isn’t just about night markets and street food.
Tucked away from the noise, I found a hidden little studio where you can create something truly personal — your own perfume.🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I went in with not much expectations and walked out with something unforgettable. 🤭🤭🤭
You go through scent testing, layering, and blending — and in the end, you create your own custom fragrance, one that reflects your story or the person you love.
I designed one unique scent from our chosen numbers - and actually it’s the experience of creating something unique with your love one. The whole process felt slow, peaceful, and creative.
It’s not loud. Not touristy. Not rushed.
Just a quiet experience that stays with you — long after the scent fades.
And if you’re the one who needs a little love right now… yes, it makes a perfect gift for yourself too. 💛
🕰️Business Hours: 10:00-20:00
🏖️BAmbiance/Facilities: Small studio with nice people
📍Address: Suan Luang Square (can find on Google map, if you’re near BTS National Stadium, you can walk for like 15-20 min, you can walk around the National Stadium 🤭, but don’t recommend to walk in hot weather)
💰Average Price per Person: I think it’s start from 2500 THB but you can still go and just experience it.

Bangkokian Museum — A Hidden Gem for History Lovers 🏠🌿
#summervacay
This house, built in 1929, originally belonged to a Chinese-Thai merchant couple. Their daughter later had five daughters here. The last owner generously donated the property to the government, turning it into today’s Bangkokian Museum. 🙏✨
The museum reflects the lifestyle of Bangkok’s middle-class families between 1937 and 1957. 🕰️👨👩👧👧
The site consists of three wooden houses, surrounded by lush trees and flowers, illustrating Bangkok’s history in the 1950s and 60s: 🌳🌸
First House (built 1937): A Western-style two-story red-tile roof house, formerly home to the Surawadi family. It mainly displays furniture, household utensils, stationery, machinery, and traditional craft tools. 🛋️📚🖋️
Second House (built 1929): Originally located in the Mohammek area, it was relocated and reconstructed here. This building mainly exhibits medical equipment. ⚕️🩺
Third House: A two-story eight-room building formerly used as rental units. It will be renovated into a community library in the future. 📖🏡
This museum offers a unique glimpse into the everyday life of Bangkok’s past middle-class, perfect for visitors interested in culture and history! 🎨🏛️
