We travelled to a few cities in Italy in Sept 2023 from Pisa➡️ Cinque Terre ➡️ Florence ➡️Rome 🫶🏼 why I chose Florence to start with it because I will definitely return to this beautiful and authentic city where my fiance and I got engaged 🥰 We booked quite a lot of museum and gallery tickets 🎫 via Trip.com and there is so much more to see, below I’ll put someplace that I visited and I think is a must-see 😍 💰💰💰Pay to enter 🎫 David di Michelangelo 🗽 🎫 The Baptistery of St. John ⛪️ 🎫 House of Dante 🎭 🎫 Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence ⛪️ 🎫 Riccardi Medici Palace 🤑 🎫 The Boboli Gardens -Pitti Palace 🌳 🎫 Palazzo Vecchio 🎨 🎫 Uffizi Gallery 🖼️ 🫶🏼Free to enter Fountain of Neptune ⛲️ Ponte Vecchio 🌉 Piazzale Michelangelo 💍 I would say the sunset in Florence is the best and you should put it on your bucket list 🌟 Below I am going to recommend some restaurants that I probably would revisit; Da' Vinattieri // near the house of Dante Price is reasonable and a big portion of a sandwich 🥪 but there is limited space for a sit-in if you don't mind you can stand outside of the shop that's what everyone does ♥️ Caffè delle Carrozze // next to the Ponte Vecchio 🫶🏼a good spot to take a break 🍻 Hosteria del Bricco // good quality of food and lovely spritz 😝 we came back twice to get wasted and celebrate our engagement within 2 days haha 😛 La petite // 10/10 breakfast in a small street 😋 again we went there 2 mornings in a row Throughout the dining experience in Florence was alright but ONE place I would strongly suggest NOT to go Caffè Scudieri Firenze ❌ What a waste of time and a total tourist trap! Waited for 30 mins to get a menu and to get a cold expresso and sugar-coated croissant 🥐 🤮 Well,,, that’s it for now!
