[Tour of old castles🇫🇷] Chambord Castle🏰
The Loire region of France is famous for its castle tours. The largest of them all is Château de Chambord🏰.
It is a castle with deep history, boasting construction that began 500 years ago. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it was built by King Francis I in 1515 as a symbol of power after his victory at the Battle of Marignan.
When I saw it in person, I was impressed by its large scale and the fact that building a castle is a very prestigious thing.
I recommend visiting the castles🏰

The charm of France🇫🇷
I've always wanted to go to France 🇫🇷
I went there in February, and the weather held up except in Paris, and it was cloudy and then sunny! But it was really cold 🥶
It's also about the price, but I recommend going in the summer or fall 👍
I was impressed by Mont Saint-Michel, of course, but the Opera Garnier and the Château de Chambord, the setting for the castle in Beauty and the Beast, were spectacular!
The area around the Château de Chambord is famous for not having much sunshine throughout the year, so if you go in the winter, you should make sure to dress warmly!
Anyway, it was an amazing 8 days! ! ! !
Next time, I want to go to the lavender fields 🪻 too 😍

[France] The castle that was the model for the live-action film Beauty and the Beast
📍Château de Chambord
Château de Chambord is a castle that makes you feel like you've entered the world of medieval Europe. It is one of the World Heritage Sites.
It was the model for the live-action film Beauty and the Beast.
It was conceived by Leonardo da Vinci and built for Francis I.
It is the largest and most impressive castle in the Loire Valley, and is a representative example of French Renaissance architecture.
It is said that Francis I was impressed by the splendor of Renaissance art during his Italian expedition and decided to build a castle incorporating that architectural style after returning home.
It was actually built not as a residence for Francis I, but as a symbol of power, with its gorgeous, beautiful and spacious gardens, and as a place to stay during hunting, and its environment surrounded by forests makes it an ideal location.
The second photo shows the spiral staircase, one of the highlights of the Château de Chambord.
It's not an ordinary spiral staircase.
This is a double spiral staircase, said to have been designed by Leonardo da Vinci.
The two pairs of staircases spiral without intersecting, allowing people to ascend and descend without passing each other.
It's interesting, isn't it?♡
When my mother and I actually went down the stairs from different entrances, we never passed each other once.🙃
