Hokkaido 2025 ❄️ Hokkaido travel plan review We traveled with the JR Rail Pass because we traveled from another region to Hokkaido. ❄️ Day 1: Hakodate - A lovely city, good atmosphere, fresh seafood from the sea. The highlight is the red brick warehouse, which is a check-in point for anyone who goes there. Take beautiful pictures and don't miss it. If you come to this city, you must eat the famous burger Lucky Pierrot, which is only available in Hakodate. Especially if you come to the branch near the red brick warehouse, we sat and ate while enjoying the sea view. It was so happy. If you come to Hakodate, we recommend staying here at least 1 night because it takes quite a long time to get here. There are many other highlights to check in. Day 2: Noboribetsu - The highlight of this city is the Hell Valley. It has a very beautiful valley view. Take beautiful pictures and have fun. Every corner of this place is beautiful. I recommend you to come here. ☺️ Day 3: Otaru - We like this city the most. It is a small but charming city. It is romantic and cute no matter where you walk. There is the Otaru Canal that you must not miss, and the Music Box Museum with its many music boxes. Along the Otaru promenade, there are many shops. Time flies so fast. I think Otaru is a small city that is very cute and romantic. Day 4: Asahikawa - Today, we rented a car from Sapporo to go see the penguins walking around at 11:00. I recommend coming when it opens at 10:30 to wait in line for them. I have to say that they are very cute. Then - In the afternoon, we drove to Biei to take pictures with the Christmas Tree and Mild Seven Hill. I have to say that the real thing is very beautiful. - After taking pictures with the tree, we traveled to Ningle Terrace, which is like a small village. There are cute handmade shops in this village. Taking pictures here is beautiful and romantic. Day 5: Sapporo - Today, we are in the city. Shopping, and the shopping area here is probably Susukino, which is a center of products. This is the only place to come. A place to eat and shop until you drop. ☺️❤️ Day 6: Sapporo - Today is January 1, 2025. Most shops are closed, including department stores. Almost everything is closed. We know that people here go to pray for blessings on New Year's Day. We also went to pray for blessings at Hokkaido-Jingu Shrine. I must say that there were a lot of people. It was like the whole city gathered here. But it was good to come here. We were full of joy and happiness to welcome the New Year. 🙂❤️ Most shops are closed on New Year's Day. But there are still some restaurants open for us to eat. Don't worry. 🤣 Day 7: Prepare to go back. - Today, there's not much. Just stop by to buy some things that we haven't finished yet and fly back to Thailand. 😁❄️ *** In fact, there are many more tourist attractions in Sapporo, such as the Clock Tower, the Old Government Office, the City Hall, and others. If you come, I'd like you to stop by. 😃 This is my second time in Hokkaido. There are some places that I didn't go to. On this trip, I focused on places that I want to go back to and miss. We got #peach airline and it was very nice and satisfied. We stayed #mercure hotel for two days and it was great and comfortable. We loved that three days we stayed in Hokkaido. Our #familytrip planed as my husband‘s birthday celebration and we could have more fun altogether. My two kids also enjoyed very much. Our destinations were #sapporo #furano #otaru. My favorite was #otaru. I wanna go there again with my family.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights, breakfast and dinner included. There was free flow unlimited drinks during meal time, food was very good. First day of dinner we had burger and then pasta for the next day. If you are travelling by car, this place is highly recommended! Room was decent and spacious. It was so much better in real than their photos in the website. Service was good, parking is free. Atmosphere was cosy and warm. It was close to Furano city, which was nice. There was quite many selection of restaurants. We will come back again! #Furano

My main reason to visit Japan is to try skiing. After did some digging, i finally decided to go furano instead of niseko. And i chose it right. We planned to take shinkansen. Be aware that during the winter, snow storm can happen anytime. So our train delayed for hours but i convince my travel partner to wait and continue to furano. We were lucky. The storm stopped. We chose the best villa as well and the owner came to pick us up fr furano train station. OMG. The view. The snow, so soft just like powder. There is nice reatorant open and we had sake as well. Can you imagine that? Also our villa serve the best breakfast prepared by an engllish man owner. We had 4hrs ski lesson and we got the best trainer. From finland. So i suggest you do your own research before going furano. For me, i jad my best moment here and i will come back. #japan #furano

Hokkaido Trip Early February 2023 After not going to Japan for 3 years, let's start to experience snow in winter in Hokkaido. Furano can be reached with JR Hokkaido Pass. From the station, take the Lavender bus and get off at the last stop, New Prince Furano Hotel. Follow the signs and you will find Ningle Terrace nearby. Ningle Terrace is a small hut in a big forest, beautiful and cute, like in a fairy tale. It is a shop selling food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. In the evening, the lights will be turned on, making the atmosphere even more beautiful when the snow falls. #furano #ningleterrace #hokkaido

It's a magical experience to witness all the of the natural beauty in just one place and we got the chance to view the whole place in a hired buggy. My last trip to Hokkaido and Furano was fun, with last day having a very nice rest and hot bath at Portom International Hokkaido, inside Hokkaido ShinChitose International Airport. The part of the holiday. BUT the weather was super hot. and YES , the lavender soft serve at farm tomita is a MUST TRY. walking to farm tomita from naka furano station is easy - there were direction arrow , so just follow the arrow OR just follow the crowd. walking takes about 20mins.#lavenderfarm #farmtomita #furano #yubari

This place is in the hotel. In my opinion, if you travel from Sapporo to here, it will take quite a long time. I recommend staying in this city or Asahikawa, which is better than Furano. Normally, it starts to get dark by 4 pm. If you only want to see this place, I think it's not worth it. I think it's better to spend time walking around Asahikawa. But if anyone has a plan to stay here and play snowboarding or skiing, it's okay to stay here for a night. If anyone is coming, study the transportation method carefully because if it's very late, there will be no car to go back. You have to take a taxi, which is quite expensive. Had one of the most pleasant experience eating curry rice at this mini miniature wood hut (ironically provided the best warmth and comfort food in this harsh winter 🤭) Service was exceptional complimented by their mouthwatering Curry Rice. I highly recommend their Omelette with Pork Sausage - the meat and egg is well marinated (yummms). However, one might find that their curry sauce is abit on the spicier side which might potentially throw you off. Getting to the place can be accessed via a taxi or even better if you have rented a car (there’s free parking right outside their eatery) I believe this place must be on your highlights if you’re planning to come to Furano!
