Purchase your tickets at Trip.com (𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘰) I got mine at 8% off and all you need is to scan in the code with passport at the gate. 2. The place is a breeze to walk but if you prefer, purchase the buggy ride to go all the way up before exploring the place walking down to save your legs. 3. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Upon reaching the top go to the Butterfly Garden. Say hello to LeLe (𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘣) currently resides in Dujiangyan Panda base together with his new friends. 4. Truly a breathtaking experience when the ‘ℬ𝓁𝓊ℯ 𝒯ℯ𝒶𝓇𝓈’ illuminate after dark. Tip: Those making Dujiangyan a day trip from Chengdu should definitely stay for this. There’s plenty of taxis or transport at the area to bring you back to the city even after dark. Better still, do plan an overnight stay at Dujiangyan.
