Mt Emei surprised us with gorgeous snow caped trees and snow covered hills creating the perfect winter wonderland. There are shops and restaurants up here. They have rental shops where you can rent jackets and hiking gears. You can also buy shoe covers to protect your shoes from getting wet, it’s also anti slip. This sacred mountain is worth the trip.The sunrising above the sea of clouds is so spectacular. It is a moment that will stay etched in our minds forever. To get here, you’ll need to take a train from Chengdu to Emei station then take a cab or bus to Emei tourist center. Here you’ll buy entrance tickets and bus transport. This bus will take you up to Leidong ping station where you can get off and hike up and then take a cable car or hike up a bit more to get to the golden summit. We climbed by foot around 1h30 (before, we took a 1h30 bus) with lot’s of stairs but look, the result of the road is impressive ! Very beautiful. I didn’t expect something like this, so I was very surprised. I highly recommend you to take a trip to the summit. #emeishan #mountainview

absolutely breathtaking and out of this world. a must trip to #emeishan. can take a cable car or walk. try to make sure although this pic was at sunset. unbelievable. we took a train from chengdu east to emeishan and a bus to the top. stayed one night up the mountain. can be done in one day but really good to see the beautiful sunrises. food can be bought along the way.amzing trip #emei
