✈️Getting There - Take the plane to Puerto Princesa and take a van to El Nido. From El Nido, take a boat to Coron 🤿Attractions - One of the best dive sites in the Philippines. The Barracuda Lake in Coron is a surreal lake with a legend of a lonely barracuda. The water temp gets warm as you descent. There are also tons of wreck around Coron, if you love wreck diving, it’s the perfect diving destination for you. Plenth of travel agency there that offers island hopping day trip, we explored some really divine island through the trips, you can bargain for a better price with the agent. Hotels - Hotel is cheap, we didn’t book in advance, so lots of hotel and hostels were full during the time. So we settled for somewhere that’s more basic and affordable, but the environment are clean, if you’d like to stay somewhere nice. making sure you book it before you go. 🍽️Food & Restaurants - Plenty of diner and restaurant along the beaches. It only takes one dive for you to fall madly in love with Sipadan. Absolutely mesmerizing. Sipadan is a well known diving destination, and is consistently named as one of the top diving destinations in the world for the diversity of marine lives and for its pristine and vibrant choral reefs. Sipadan offers unforgettable diving experience, but for me the visits to the nearby Mabul Island and Kapalai atolls made my Sipadan trip so much more fulfilling. (You may read my other posts for Mabul island and Kapalai island resorts experience). All these islands offer a different underwater scenery and marine lives. Mabul Island is often overshadowed by Sipadan, but it’s actually one of the best macro and muck diving destinations in the world. Mataking Island, on the other hand, gets the occasional whale shark stopping by as the island falls within their migration route. Did I forget to mention that in almost every spot you can easily see turtle chilling around the choral reef, you may even get a chance to swim along with turtles at the size of a table. It has been known as a place with no winter. sea water temperature is around 25 Celsius degrees all year round. Went to Taiwan, took a ferry to lambai island and it was a lovely island. Went there for my diving ow cert, and it was so amazing see a lot of sea turtle and marine creatures x it is said to have more than 800 sea turtle there. And I found one of the biggest sea turtle. The water visually is good and the sea was pretty calm when u was there. Do use environmental friend and reef friendly sunblock when you enter the water.
