If you go to Azuki, you will definitely regret it if you don’t go to the 24 Eyes Movie Village! !

Looking at the movie title "Twenty-Four Eyes", do you think it is a horror movie like me? In fact, it is a story about the life of teachers and students in a rural elementary school on Shodoshima Island about a hundred years ago (Showa era). The twenty-four pupils represent the eyes of twelve students.
We found this place on the bus trip to Olive Park. To go to the film village, you can take a boat or a bus, and we chose to take the boat. I bought a boat ticket at the tourist center at Olive Navi Pier (Olive Beach) and followed the instructions to the pier (just a place protruding from the sea). There were no signs, and I was wondering if I had found the right place when I saw a small boat coming towards us.
It is recommended that you go there by boat. Sitting in a small boat, we sailed on the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. The sky was clear, with blue sky and white clouds (I really want to use the adjective "clean" to describe the blue sky), and the scenery was beautiful.
It took less than ten minutes to arrive at the Film Village. As soon as we entered, we saw the filming location built for the movie. There were many old wooden buildings, restaurants, bookstores, souvenir shops, the Japanese Film History Museum, etc. Everyone must enter the school building to take pictures of the scene, there are many beautiful photo spots. In addition, you can see the endless sea outside the school building. There are long wooden chairs and log signs here, which are beautiful for taking photos!
If you don't eat or take a lot of photos, you can finish the tour in about an hour. When you plan to go to Olive Park, you can consider coming here before or after. You will definitely be surprised!
Tips for you:
1. If you want to take a boat, get off at the Olive Park entrance. The boats are not available in winter and on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is best to check before departure.
2. When buying tickets, you will see the option of "Cape no Bunka" (Misaki Classroom). This is an abandoned school and a real filming location, and you need to buy a separate ticket. If you are not a fan of this drama, you can just visit the movie village
3. There are different bus lines in Shodoshima, and many of them are relatively sparse. It is best to ask at the front desk before departure and get the bus schedule for your destination
4. When leaving, if there is no boat, remember to ask the ticket office for the boat departure time
