#chinatrip I finally had a chance to check out Hong Kong International Airport which has been awarded the Asia’s Leading Airport for 2024 at the 31st World Travel Awards. True enough, the modern amenities and efficiency were undoubtedly its strength. It simply also very easy to navigate around the airport with the clear signs everywhere and multiple customer service counters. #koreatrip Daegu does have character. Often overlooked or say not as popular or heard of as compared to Seoul or Busan. Yet, it offers everything oma tourist needs. Traditionally a textile town and I know some parts do give that industrial vibe. Also, being the second largest city after Seoul. It's bound to have people. Ours was an unplanned stop purely a result of looking up distances on the map. And I'm glad we did it. Because Daegu has your mountains and parks , the food and culture that other places in south Korea offer. Underrated theme park! Everland is often overlooked due to it's location being really far from the city and the popularity of Lotte World. However, I'm happy to report that my experience at Everland was far superior! The rides were so much more fun and exciting, with lots of wild and extreme rides that leave you wanting more. Queues were also not too long and well managed too! on a cloudy day in summer 2024, three of my country mates and I woke up early to go catch the bus to Great Wall. Determined to climb the badaling section! We reached great wall and climbed all the way to the top! Chinese and foreigners all climbing the wall. Every once in a while I stopped and caught my breath on the side of the wall. Cutr Chinese kids ran past and laughed to see foreigners panting and sitting on the side of the wall. When we made it to the top of the wall, decided to get on the Cable Cart and head back to the bottom. All in all it was a lovely experience.
