East Coast Park Lagoon(Many Food Options)
Thinking of somewhere to go this weekend? Head down to east coast park where this is the longest beach in singapore from Fort Road all the way towards tenah merah. This place is popular among joggers and cyclists especially in the morning!
After a great work out, looking for much friendlier options, you can head to the east coast park food lagoon located right in the middle of east coast park itself where most of the stores will start opening from 10am/11am in the morning.
There are wide variety of options especially towards our local sibgapore food like chicken rice, prata, carrot cake and hokkien mee, curry puff and even coconut and sugar cane for a refreshing drink!
This place will be very crowded especially during the weekends evening, even with the huge floor spaces of seating, parking too is hard to find! Do go there early if you don't intend to fight for a lot. Food here is generally good, but a bit on the pricy side due to a tourist location.

The International Airport In Hyderabad
Finally it's my day to head back from Hyderabad to Singapore. The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has very strict policies where only departing passengers are allowed to enter into the airport, this is not like where we can walk around in the airport in singapore or send people off. If one who wants to send someone off, they are required to pay a fee before entering into the airport.
Although being in India, our impression of the airport is the dirty rundown kind of airport but Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is a modern airport that is also currently expanding so that they will be able to handle more passengers in the future.
Do make Hyderabad a holiday destination as the country has been growing and improving in tourism ever since the lift of covid restrictions.

In The Alcatraz Island, The Prison Walks
The Alcatraz Island is a popular tourists attraction as it was once an island of incarceration where this was a prison for the most dangerous criminal and it was heavily guarded by the military making this look like a Fort and almost impossible to break out of the island due to the prison being surrounded by waters.
Now the prison has closed since the 1963 due to the very heavy cost of running this operation, it has become a tourist attraction where you will be able to go into the walls of the Fort to have a look at how the prisoners here once lived. Prisoners are separated with cell doors and you will learn the type of prisoners being sent here. You will also be able to walk the ground of the Alcatraz Island into the different building, the dinning Hall and there is now also a souvenir shop for you if you want to bring back some memories of this island.
You will be able to learn the history behind the island and also the prisoners sufferings in here as well, to understand their way of life and their daily routine here.

Affordable Seafood On Pier 39
A popular tourist attraction in San Fransico is the Peir 39 located at the Embarcadero, San Franisco where this is a shopping centre and attraction being built on the Pier where the fisherman wharf is located.
Many of the restaurants here are highly priced due to the many tourists visiting the area but there are little cafes and restaurants here that can be affordable if you do your research before you head down.
Of course what do you eat when you are at Pier39? Seafood of course! There are many places here serve relatively fresh seafood but we head to a place called The Chowder Bowl to get our lunch fix where this has one of the nicest chowder and also one of the better Google reviews, and of course the go to food is definitely the fish and chips where you are able to choose your choice of fish to go along with chips or a grilling option is also available for a much healthier choice!

Baiyoke Sky Hotel Level 81 Buffet
Baiyoke Sky Hotel is the tallest building in Bangkok, standing at 88 stories and located at 222 Ratchaprarop Rd, Thanon Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi.
There is couple of buffets running at one time in Baiyoke Sky Hotel, a international with local Thai cuisine buffet at 2 levels where 1 is at 75th story and the premium lne at 81 story, a Chinese buffet and a ala Carte sky grill(more like fine dinning).
We had the level 81 premium buffet that roughly cost us about 85baht per person when bought online rather than the 1,100baht when bought at the hotel itself.
The food is not the most fantastic, but its more of an experience and the view from the 81st story, watching the sunset and the lights from the city lighting up slowly.
Do take note thay the buffet timings has 2 timings, 1 at 5pm -7pm while the other is at 7pm - 9pm. The buffet timing are adhere too, so do finish up before 7pm to be avoided being chased away.

A Floating Market In Amphawa
Tourists comes to Bangkok to experience the floating market where you can sit boats to do your shopping. And that's also the only way to get around in the market too! There is a less crowded floating market located very near the MaeKlong Rail Market, approx 10mins drive away.
This floating market opens only from Friday- Sunday at 2pm - 8pm where both tourists and locals will do their visits to enjoy good local food like seafood, Thai local delicacies and sweets while enjoying the river canal view of passing boats. Some people even come close to sunset to watch the sunset, which gives it a magical experience.
This market is one of the oldest, was said to be 100years old too, and plus this market is has lessee tourists especially, because tour busses do not generally come here as well. So if you do drive, this place is a great option to visit after your rail road market visit.

Great Dinner at Asiatique Riverfront
To end of a walk at asiatique is to have dinner via the riverfront! There are several restaurants located at Asiatique The Riverfront. From western like Wine I Love You, to japanese restaurant like Kacha Kacha, or a laid back wine and bar with snacks at Happy Fish but we ended off with a good seafood dinner that is filled with crab meat. From Crab Fried Rice, to Crab Omelette(which was insanely good), to our deep fry soft shell Crab with garlic and of course a side of morning glory(kangkong).
I have to say that the price isn't the most affordable in Thailand but for a riverfront dinning and at a place like this, the price is to be expected to be on a higher side! Indeed it was a rather chill romantic dinner with my love one.
But of course there are much cheaper options than what we have at Kodang Talay, so you need not worry about not breaking your wallet.
Parking here is also cheap, for a 2 hours slot we were only charge a total of 20baht.

Budget and cheap buys in Sampheng
There are many cheap and budget finds in Bangkok Thailand. But one place that you shouldn't miss is Sampheng market located in chinatown, an open air street market where stall sells everything from clothes, to household appliances, to souvenirs, phone accessories and many other things that you can think of!
There are 2 sections of Sampheng, which is separated by the main road, do be cautious when walking as there might be slow passing motorbikes in your pathway. There is also an area in Sampheng where you will find small little eateries that are run by the family business. Also when it comes to food and eateries this place is much much cheaper than the popular chatuchuk market. So I don't see why this place is not a must visit to many.

Hotel With Free Boat Rides to Malls & BTS
Looking for a hotel to stay in Bangkok with a private boat ride from the hotel to Iconsiam, a big mall with endless food choices from local Thai cusine, to japanese food, to fried chicken and many more. Also in the mall, there are many luxury brands like Hermes, Gucci, Boss and many more.
The boat ride from the hotel takes less than 5mins to the mall, not forgetting the luxurious seating it has. With also a restaurant dinning, overlooking the famous Chao Phraya River. There is also a mall located right beside Royal Orchid Sheraton called River city which are for Arts and Antiques enthusiasts.

Beautiful Japan In Bangkok
Missing Japan and Thailand? Head to Bangkok, they have recently build a Japan town up north of suvarnabhumi airport approx 30mins drive away. There is no MRT here but this is a both a tourists and local attraction where only transportation via Car and Tour Buses only.
This place is indeed relatively very new, some parts of the area are still under construction but almost 75% has been completed. The architectural and paint works are all about Japan, even the food sold here like goyzas, bingsu, desserts, Japanese bbq, takoyaki are all towards the Japanese cusine.
This is a good place for photo taking especially when it's still relatively empty, also there are little fishes and small kois swimming around the little drainages where we too can walk over via the many man made bridges. There are also kimonos that you can rent for photo taking to have the full experience.
Parking here is free and there are ample parking spaces, so you need not worry. But do take not on where you have parked your car as there are 2 main entrances which you might get lost.

Who says Clarke Quay is only popular in the night? Although I have to agree the bustling crowds are mostly in the evening on Friday - Sunday. But there are still things to see and do!
You can head to *The Central* located at Clarke Quay Purple Line where most shops, Restaurants and Cafes open at 11am. At least you don't need to bother too much of the evening crowds here.
You can also head across the water towards where the main attraction is of Clarke Quay at noon. There are several attractions to do, like the Holey Moley Golf Club(Indoor Mini Golf Courses) or Level Up(Singapore’s first ever arcade-bar that comes equipped with retro arcade games) or even the singapore cruise tour which brings you along the singapore river at a reasonable price of $25. One of nature's wonders!
Bay of Fires is a tourist hotspot, and I could totally see why the moment I got there! It was an hour's drive into the Conversation Area but oh so worth it. The view was expansive and so beautiful!
The rocks were unevenly coated with bright orange lichen and waters were crystal clear that I could see the sand underneath and little fishes in the water. I spotted some crabs in between the rocks too.
The carpark is quite small, only good for approx. 10 cars so be sure to get there early especially during the holiday season. Another tip is to check the weather forecast before heading down. I went on a rainy day but thankfully the rain stopped and the skies cleared up after a while.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure in the western United States, near Morrison, Colorado, ten miles west of Denver
There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525.
In 1927, the City of Denver purchased the area of Red Rocks; construction of the amphitheater began in 1936, and was opened to the public in June 1941. Since then, many notable performances and recordings for film and television have taken place there. In June 2015, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame opened in the Trading Post at Red Rocks
If you ever have a chance to drop here for a concern, the sound bouncing from the rocks makes it an unique experience, its like a concert in nature. Something that you will never experience before, there are also small trails and hike around this area to see the rock formation and history behind this area.

Popular Loveland Pass
Loveland Pass or some call it the continental divide is a high mountain pass in north-central Colorado, at an elevation of 11,990 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States. Many tourists stops here for the amazing and breathtaking view. There are ample amount of parking here.
For people who love trekking/hiking this is also a great place to do some walk, but requires some sort of fitness. This isn't wheelchair friendly as there are steep slopes and stairs to reach up to the top of the mountain.
Do take note that in winter, the road can be dangerous and scary. The twisty road is considered to be especially treacherous during the cold winter months and might be closed due to the slippery icy conditions. So make sure you do check for road closures closer to winter.
