Our family visited Jurong Bird Park a few times in the past. We seized the last opportunity to visit JBP again before it relocates to Mandai after 3rd January 2023. Don't be intimidated by its seemingly "ulu" (remote) location. There is free shuttle bus to and fro JBP and Jurong East MRT at intervals of 10 min starting 9 am daily. Pick up at Jurong East Private Bus Pick-Up Point via Jurong East MRT Exit B. Do not miss the High Flyers Show at 11 am and 3 pm, and King of the Skies at 10 am and 4 pm! You can also get up close to some of the birds at African Treetop (entrance at Treetop Cafe). Jurong Bird Park opens its door to the public in 1971 and will be closing its door soon but not totally as they are actually relocating to a new area together with the mandai zoo! Its time to pack your bags and walk down memory lane again before they total close this place, Jurong Bird Park located at 2 Jurong Hill, 628925 has close to 3500 bird with over more than 300 over different species from parrots, to penguins, to hornbills, swans and many other birds! Jurong Eco Garden was a fairly new Garden to me as this is located all the way towards the quaternary tip and isn't mostly talked about unless residences who stays around the area. This is basically a hidden park right by NTU, where this is said to be protected to be mixed with a business industry together with an eco park. But for now, this is just a park by itself where you are able to spot wildlife, natural water streams and several photo taking spot. Honestly, this isn't too big of a park and can take you less than 90mins to cover the entire place with photo taking, but still it's something different from the other common gardens in singapore. #celebratewithtrip #singapore #westside #jurong #nature #ecofriendly #ecogarden #hike

The main exhibit is about the founding of Singapore - Through The Lens of Time. It has 3 main sections - the early days where it’s an multi screen projection show with voice over covering the discovery of this island and the start of building of a community on this island. Next key section is on the war and founding of this nation. One gets to learn the struggles of our forefathers. 3rd main section covers the key events that happened here. Do plan at least half a day to slowly explore and see the place.
