Raffles City Chongqing is seriously one of the most stylish and modern corners of the city. I visited on a weekday, and lucky me — it wasn’t crowded at all. Perfect for slowly exploring without the rush and noise!
I didn’t go up to the Crystal Sky Bridge, but honestly, I didn’t feel like I missed much. The shopping mall itself is massive and gorgeous, with clean layouts, high ceilings, and every kind of shop you can imagine. One of my favourite stops? The LEGO Store! It was bright, colorful, and packed with all kinds of creative displays — definitely a fun stop even for adults.
After shopping, I headed to the square outside the mall, and the view there is stunning. The space opens up to the riverfront, and you get a beautiful look at the skyline, the bridges, and the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. The contrast of futuristic buildings with natural river scenery made it feel like a scene from a sci-fi movie. Peaceful, breezy, and just the right spot to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
