I went to Manzatei, a hot spring inn in Manza Onsen!!! ⁡ I think Kusatsu Onsen is famous when it comes to Gunma!!! Personally, I prefer the cloudy water at Manza Onsen😇 ⁡ I feel like Manza Onsen has a stronger sulfur smell, and I recommend it because you can relax in the hot water🫠 ⁡ ✔️Recommended points ⚫︎You can bathe in the cloudy light blue water all day except from 2 to 4 am♨️ ⚫︎Dinner and breakfast are delicious, and very filling! (Two people staying at the hotel were able to eat in private or semi-private rooms! It only takes an hour from Tokyo station to Takasaki station through the bullet train and an approximately 15 mins bus ride to Kannon sancho bus terminal. You can definitely feel the serenity and tranquility once you step out of the bus. The air is also fresh and the people there are nice. The small unique shops along the shopping street. I was even offered tea even though I was just doing window shopping. The best season to go is during Sakura season where the byakue Kannon will be surrounded with Sakura trees. You can also pay 300 yen to go up the byakue kannon to overlook the city view. Also, if you’re early enough, you can catch the monks praying and chanting.
