Very cute restaurant with good food. The restaurant is lovely inside and immerses you in Thai culture.
I had a late lunch. I ordered the chicken gapao.😋

Republic Square: A Heartbeat of Armenian Culture
#getgoing2025
Visiting Republic Square in Yerevan was like stepping into the soul of Armenia. Surrounded by stunning Soviet-era architecture, it’s a blend of past and present. The History Museum and National Gallery tell the country's rich story, while the fountains come alive with music and light at night. It’s the perfect place to soak in Armenia’s vibrant energy, its pride, and its history. I could feel the weight of its cultural significance as locals gathered, chatting, laughing, and living life against this iconic backdrop.

Cascade Complex, Yerevan, Armenia 🇦🇲
The Cascade Complex is home to the Kafeghian Art Center, a well-known Armenian art center, located in the capital city of Yerevan.
Known as “The Cascade,” the building was designed by architect Alexander Tamanyan. Tamanyan wanted to connect the northern and central parts of the city, the city’s historic residential and cultural centers. With over 500 steps, the city can be reached by walking to the other side of the city.

Yerevan Moments
Armenia is an amazing country, where every corner holds its own history and atmosphere. During this trip, I discovered many landmarks, each deserving its own spotlight. Unfortunately, I couldn’t visit everything, but that just gives me a reason to return. Yerevan is a city of contrasts, where ancient temples stand side by side with modern buildings, and cozy streets invite you for leisurely strolls. The mountains, museums, cuisine, and incredible hospitality make Armenia a country everyone should visit. Next time, I will definitely uncover even more treasures of this remarkable land!

Cascade - Yerevan - Armenian
Yerevan is the magnificent city of Armenia's
pulsating heart. The incredible cascade began
construction in 1971. It has become everyone's
favorite not just because of its expensive high
end artworks, but also because of the
breathtaking view of Yerevan from the top, with
Mount Ararat looming behind Yerevan's iconic
pink buildings.
It is a great place for young people to congregate
for drinks, and it is where a lot of open-air
concerts are staged. Jazz concerts, traditional
Armenian dancing classes, and other activities
are held at the Cascade stairwell.
Visiting the Cascade should undoubtedly be on
your bucket list.

Republic square Yerevan, Armenia
The well-known and stunning republic square is
located in the heart of Yerevan. The square was
created in 1924 to represent a fusion of national
styles. Its shape is similar to an oval and a
trapeze. If you need to travel to the square, don't
worry; there are buses, minibuses and metro
stations available to carry tourists and locals. The
history museum and the art gallery are two of the
five iconic buildings in Republic Square.
The most loved, interesting perspective of the
lovely fountains may be seen at the museum.
They are accustomed to making music exquisite
through their unmistakable color change in
accordance with the rhythm .They are constantly
accessible from late May to October, so don't
miss out on this incredible view. Get to Republic

Yerevan - Zvartnots Int. Airport - Armenia
The international airport is not large, but it will serve you well. It is well organized, with several departments in a position that is so simple to access and you will not be stressed by your departure requirements. Clients can easily go to their plane sit.
It is very clean, there are no crowded flights, and it is simple to identify the plane that you were assigned to board for your travel.
Special note should be made of the super economy class, which is extremely nice. Don't pass up this opportunity to go to any location of your choosing on a safe and well-maintained airline.

After long cold and dark winter days it is very pleasing to feel the warmth of the sunlight 🌞see all the colors all over you 🌈🌳

Zvartnots Int. Airport - New terminal
Zvartnots International Airport is located near Zvartnots, about 15 km west of the capital city of Armenia - Yerevan.
The airport was first opened in 1961. In 2011 a new modern departures and arrivals terminal, car-parking with a capacity of 600 vehicles and a government delegation terminal (VIP terminal) were opened.
According to different sources about $160 million have been invested in Zvartnots’s reconstruction.
The newly built terminal have the capacity to process up to 3.5 million passengers every year.
Hopefully the old terminal building will not be demolished as it is an amazing architectural project build in 1970s.

Zvartnots Int. Airport - Old Terminal
Zvartnots International Airport is the main international airport of Armenia and Yerevan's main international transport hub.
In this post I want to tell you a little bit about the old terminal building of the Airport.
it was built in the 1970s. The old terminal is the circular terminal. The parking area used to be underneath the bridge serving the Departures. The Arrivals hall was on the lowest floor, it was small and rather narrow.
Once, it was the height of luxury with a restaurant high up on the central control tower and views across to the Armenian capital Yerevan.
more than 2,500 passengers crowded through the country's most modern airport terminal every hour.
Now it sits abandoned, locked. and facing demolition.

Hidden places of Yerevan at fall
Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world. So, it is also one of the most interesting and beautiful cities in the world!
I love walking around the city at fall. 🍂 Especially along the narrow streets and lanes lost on the outskirts of the city. One of my favorite things to do whenever I am in the town is to enjoy the sunset from the balcony of my family house. 🌇
If you are in Yerevan or planning to visit Yerevan Please, don’t forget to look at the sky especially in the evening! I have never seen such beautiful sunsets anywhere else in the world. When the sun has already set you’ll be amazed by the stars in the sky 🌌

Incourt Tennis Club - Yerevan
Incourt Tennis Club is a tennis 🎾 club in Yerevan where I was playing at least for twice a week.
Highly recommending to give it a try whether you want to have some fun with friends or family or if you want to have a professional trainer and learn how to actually play tennis. Incourt Tennis Club is the place where you can do both!
The best thing about this place is that there is also a gym and a swimming pool, as well as a cafe where you can enjoy coffee or a cold milkshake on a hot sunny day.
Another thing what I really liked about this place is the location - it is literally located next to the Dalma Garden Mall where you can do a lot of things starting from shopping all the way to having a nice dinner after playing tennis.
Address: Tsitsernakaberd highway 7/1, Yerevan, Armenia.

Holy Mother of God Church, Nork-Marash
Holy Mother of God Church, Nork-Marash was destroyed by the disastrous earthquake of 1679 but then it was restored, in 1930s the church became, the victim of the religion-persecuting policy of USSR. even though the couch was ruined a lot of people from all over Armenia were still visiting it.
After Armenia declared independence in 1991 residents of Nork district started the reconstruction of the church. In 1995 reconstruction was completed and since then the church is open for visitors.
I especially love this church because our family house is located not far from the church and I was visiting it with my family quite often when I was a child. Also me and my siblings were baptized in this church.

Yerevan - city I love and Miss the most
A fact you probably didn't know: Yerevan was founded in 782 BCE and it is one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, with a history of 2800 years. The city itself is 29 years older than Rome.♥️
As I was born in Yerevan and lived there most of my childhood and teenage years. I think I know almost every corner of the city and I love and miss it very much.
I haven’t been there already for about 4 years and now I’m feeling extremely homesick so I decided to share this post.
In the pictures you see the beautiful architecture of the city. Picture N3 was taken at the republic square which is one of my favorite places in the city.

Spring in Yerevan: A Colorful Celebration at Vernissage Market

Strolled through the vibrant Vernissage Market in Yerevan, and it felt like spring had exploded in every color! If you are already smiling, because you know the Radio Yerevan jokes, you are probably coming from the Eastern Europe and you will feel like at home in the capital of Armenia.
Anyway, it's good to start your tourist activities from the Republic square where you can find transport to many other places of interest 🚌
