interesting local cafe
Pomelo was kind of diluted with water. Great coffee and local Indonesian food. It's a very place with some interesting local options. They arrange a lot of unusual walking tours for those who would like to discover a different indonesia.
Theya are quite nice people. We tried their juices and food. The carrot, pineapple, and orange combination was also not up to the mark but the red velvet cookie was delectable. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Kice food and cappucino
Nice small coffee shop in maland city with a good menu and great cappuccino, which despite the many coffee shops we came across in indonesia, is really hard to find! Really nice hidden place, the atmosphere is nice with some background music and lot of book to browse while waiting.
The food is great the menu has few items and they all looks good I have tried their breakfast and it was super tasty. Staff and service is very nice. Really pretty inside with wooden tables and leather covered stools.

Jice fusion food and coffee
Stepping inside feels like escaping into a calm oasis filled with charm and authenticity, far from the touristy buzz. There’s a table that seats 10 and smaller tables for 4…and a comfortable couch in a bright corner if you’re a single traveller looking to curl up somewhere. Really nice vibe and a place to come with friends.
While the Indonesian food was good. I especially loved their fusion and Asian dishes—the daily specials are fresh, tasty, and full of local flavors, beautifully presented with lots of care. The team is genuinely warm and attentive.

🇮🇩Indonesia small island印尼周邊小島 - Tanjung Balai Karimun
Hello Tanjung Balai Karimun
Located in the west of Singapore and Batam, the Karimun Islands stand guard south of the busy shipping lane that is the Straits of Malacca. Together with Batam and Bintan, Karimun forms part of the Batam-Bintan-Karimun Free Trade Zone, which is being developed into an industrial and tourism region. Tanjung Balai is a busy medium town largely built on stilts, with a significant Chinese Peranakan population. Here are found a number of Chinese temples, oldest of which is the Vihara Cetiya Vidya Sagara, built in 1926.
Tanjung Balai Karimun is known for its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and stunning landscapes. This town is a perfect destination for those who want to experience the beauty of Indonesia without the crowds of tourists.
During Chinese New Year season that's some Chinese New Year decoration you can visit too.
Local Indonesia food are delicious and cheap.
🚢🚢
From Singapore, Penguin and Indo falcon ferry operate from Singapore’s Harbour Front Centre to Tanjung Balai. The journey takes one and a half hours. Since both companies code-share, Singapore ticket holders can board any ferry between the two on your return leg from Tanjung Balai to Singapore.
But if you have bought your ticket in Tanjung Balai, this will be valid only on the ferry of the company from which you bought the ticket.
From Malaysia, ferries to Karimun leave from Kukup in Johor. There is now a new ferry service from Batu Pahat, Johor to Tanjung Balai Karimun. There are also regular ferry services from Batam and Bintan islands.
That's a hotel which is just beside the ferry terminal.
Hope you can enjoy and relax at this island ☺️☺️

Truth about Tegallagang Rice Terrace 🌾🤫
#indonesiatrip
Here are some truths about the insta worthy famous rice terrace
It is known as a very popular tourist spot and also a *tourist trap* because of several reasons below:
🌾The area is surrounded with lots of cafes that even offered you a fee for looking at the rice terrace in the valley
🌾You have to pay so called owner fees to hike the rice terrace as the land is owned by different people
🌾Come here really early, as early as before 7am as the porter has not yet arrived at the stair gate where they usually collect their entrance fee and you get the place for free
🌾The area is actually really wet and muddy all year around especially during monsoon season so please bring your best hiking gear or best yet *slippers*
🌾Avoid posing with any of the props given by the local unless you want to support them bcs it is not free!
But it is still so worth to visit just be aware of all the reasons above so you would not have culture shock when visiting!

Cake and fruit were provided for the occasion and we appreciated the swift response and good attitude of all their staff in handling our requests.
You can also get their buggy service to take you around the resort, very helpful considering the ups and downs from the cliff top to the sea side.

#indonesiatrip
Hotel Ciputra Cibubur offers a very convenient stay, as it is connected to Mall Ciputra Cibubur, making it easy to find food, watch a movie, or do some shopping. I booked a Deluxe Premiere room and enjoyed many benefits: a free minibar (chips, soft drinks, fitness bar) that gets replenished daily, four bottles of water, complimentary snacks and drinks available at 10 AM and 4 PM near the elevator, and free laundry service for two pieces each day.
The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The staff were helpful and friendly. Guests also enjoy free parking when staying at the hotel. The receptionist is located on the L floor, while car drop-off is at the G floor, which connects to the mall. There is also an ATM machine nearby.
The only minor downside is that the rooms aren't entirely soundproof, but it wasn't a significant issue. Overall, Hotel Ciputra Cibubur provided a pleasant and convenient stay.

Bali Swing @Picheaven
📍Address: Picheaven Bali - Swing Jl. Dewi Saraswati No.8, Bongkasa Pertiwi, Kec. Abiansemal, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80352, Indonesia
🕰️Operating Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM daily
If you're visiting Bali, you shouldn't miss the chance to take photos on the iconic Bali swing. We chose a spot with a forest backdrop. We visited in March, at the end of the rainy season, when the forest is lush and green.
We chose Picheaven because the ticket prices are cheaper than other places. They have photographers who know the best angles, so you don't have to worry about taking the photos yourself. You can take as many photos as you want until you're satisfied. You need to rent your own outfit, which is not included in the ticket price. The ticket includes one drink per person. We spent about an hour taking photos, and the queue wasn't long.
If you come to Bali, don't forget to stop by and capture some memorable photos.

📍Address: Alila Ubud, Melinggih Kelod, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
Alila Ubud, the hotel is on a hill, surrounded by nature.
The hotel's breakfast buffet allows us to enjoy authentic Indonesian food in Balinese style, surrounded by a lush green forest. The ingredients used in the food emphasize healthy & organic. Before having breakfast, the staff took us on a nature tour. We walked around the vegetable garden, herbal plantation, banana plantation and the hotel's rice field, so we were confident that eating here was not only delicious, but also healthy. We ate until dinner.
Balinese food is not much different from Thai food. They use some spices that you may not be familiar with, or some are similar to southern Thai food. The taste is well-rounded and delicious. We like the hotel's mi goreng. It smells delicious and goes well with their chili paste. It's similar to nam prik ong and nam prik num, but not too spicy.
