Experience the magic in Edinburgh!
A must visit city to add to your itinerary! I highly recommend spending 2-3 days exploring in Edinburgh. If you’re sticking to just the city limits, then you can get to most places on foot.
I started my 2-day trip in Edinburgh with a walk down Royal Mile to visit the independent shops and see amazing historic architecture.
Then walked down to the colourful Victoria Street to see what inspired JK Rowling in Harry Potter (hint: Diagon Alley!). Looked in some of the shops along the way and found myself some nice trinkets!
Took a stroll down to Princes Street Garden and walked up the Scott Monument to their third floor viewing platform for picturesque views across Edinburgh city.
Went to Grassmarket square for a meal at the Smallest Pub in Scotland (it really is!).
I felt like a King when I went to Edinburgh Castle, an impressive construction built on rocks since at least the Iron Age. Tip: it can get quite busy around here so I suggest visiting outside of peak hours.
My 2-day trip ended with a rainbow on Arthur’s Seat. Perfection :)

Many Sites of Edinburgh
Edinburgh is always on my top list to visit again. The medieval style architecture contrasts with the modern day hustle and bustle. A great way to see the city is by the bus tour, they run every 10 minutes and there are different routes to choose from. The Grass Market is a great spot to grab some food from one of the many restaurants within the area - you can have a bite from many places around the world with the variety of foods available.

Edinburgh's most colorful and charming 🌈 Victoria Street
#Overseas Travel #British Travel #Check-in Destinations
After visiting the National Library of Scotland, cross the street and you will find #VictoriaStreet, the most beautiful and vibrant street in Edinburgh. It was built between 1829 and 1834 and was named Victoria Street after Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837.
This curved cobblestone strip is dotted with colorful buildings. The striking arches set off the classical architectural style and the streets are lined with specialty restaurants and shops, which is the charm of this place. There is an open-air corridor on the #historic building with an ancient stone exterior. Several gourmet restaurants are located in the corridor. Visitors can enjoy a #food tour here while admiring the wonderful masterpiece that architect Thomas Hamilton has transformed this small street, making this iconic area a mosaic of history. Visitors who visit here will definitely stop to appreciate it carefully and #take photos 📸.
Victoria Street has a geographical advantage. This beautiful rainbow-like street provides a passage from the #grassmarket area to #castlehill. The upstream connects to the Royal Mile leading to #Edinburgh Castle; the downstream runs through #Haymarket. Surrounded by two famous scenic spots, visitors can enjoy countless #attractions and amazing Scottish #historical landmarks 😎😎.
Another unique charm of Victoria Street, a #must-visit spot for tourists, is its arcades of independent shops with unique characteristics. It is enough for me to spend two hours wandering through the shops to hunt for treasures, admire local art prints and the towering literary gold of the Old Town Bookstore, and browse the fashion goods and boutiques of Swish. This historic #tourist destination has brought me endless surprises 😁😁!
