Jiron de la Union Street is the lively center of Lima, where you can see various street events as you walk. When I went, there were street parades and folk performances of each Peruvian tribe, which was really impressive. The energy of people showing off different traditional costumes and dances filled the entire street, and it was a special moment where you could feel the culture and history of the region. It was a chance to get a glimpse of the various aspects of Lima while experiencing rich folk art along with the fragrant smell of food everywhere on the street. This street is a place where you can vividly experience Peru's deep culture and traditions, beyond just shopping and sightseeing.

Built in the mid-16th century, this church is a prime example of Lima's early colonial architecture. Its charming Baroque façade and elaborate details are captivating, while its interior is filled with beautiful gold leaf decorations and works of art. In front of the church, you can see the busy streets of Lima... People are bustling along the streets lined with shops and food stalls, and the contrast between the liveliness of the streets and the quietness of the church creates a special feeling.
This is a great place where Lima's history and modernity come together, and you can calmly look around the church while feeling the energy of the streets.
Plaza de Armas... Lima, Peru
If you visit Plaza de Armas in Lima during the day, you'll be greeted by the charming city hall and cathedral. Especially during the Resurrection of Jesus event held in front of the cathedral, many people gather to pray and feel a peaceful atmosphere. The square is filled with people, and sharing this sacred moment together feels truly special. However, in such a crowded environment, you should be cautious of pickpockets. Enjoy the beauty of the square at a leisurely pace, but always keep an eye on your belongings. It can be a precious time to fully experience Lima's history along with its religious events.

Walking through the medieval Spanish-style buildings in the historical center of Lima feels like time travel. Built in the 16th century under the influence of the Spanish colonial era, the city is a harmonious mix of sophisticated Spanish architecture and cute plazas. As you walk along the narrow alleys, you will notice buildings that are steeped in history and culture from that time.
Important buildings such as the Lima Cathedral and the Government Palace preserve the history of the city, and when you stand in front of them, you can feel the glory and revival of that time. Walking here is an experience that connects the past and the present, and it is a moment to get one step closer to the deep history of Lima..... Of course, it may feel quite different from the local area.. The local area is dangerous, so do not enter it recklessly.

Friendship Park Story
In 1924, Spain built a huge arch on Arequipa Street in Lima to symbolize the friendship between Spain and Peru. However, a few years later, the arch was demolished to expand the road.
In 2001, when the King of Spain visited Peru,
it was decided to rebuild the arch.
The structure was so impressive,,,
that it has now become the symbol of this park!

Peru's history seen through fountain shows⛲️
Fountain Park in Lima, Peru ⛲️🩵
This is a unique travel course where you can see various fountains of various sizes, large and small. At the largest fountain, you can watch an animation of Peruvian history through the fountain at a set time :)
I recommend this place where you can return to your childhood and have fun at a reasonable price of about 1,500 won for 4 solos per person!
It is also located not far from the old city of Lima, so it is a good tourist attraction to visit on foot after going to Plaza de Armas👍🏻

Feeling Europe in South America, La Union Street🚶🏻♀️
A centuries-old pedestrian street lined with shops, restaurants, cafes, and famous buildings and city squares :)
Thanks to the influence of Spanish rule, it was a place with a strong European feel! Not only that, there were many museums, small and large events here and there, so there was a lot to see!
At night, the orange lights come down, creating an even more luxurious and elegant atmosphere on the street🩵💖

Since you're in Peru, you have to eat Peruvian chicken!! "Pardos chicken"
Wow~~~
Chicken breast is this soft??
I originally love chicken breast!!
Sometimes it was so dry that I couldn't eat it...
Here, Peruvian chicken is so tender that the chicken breast just falls off...
It's grilled for a long time in the barbecue grill, so the smell of the fire is forgotten...
It tastes good..
It makes me feel good...
If you come to Lima, I recommend you try it....
Highly recommended..

🇵🇪Peruvian-style chicken barbecue “Pardos Chicken” in Lima
Address: Av. Dos de Mayo 1002, San Isidro
Atmosphere/Facilities: The Peruvian version of McDonald's
Key Points: San Isidro seems to be the most organized area in Lima
Average Price Per Person: 20sol
Rating: 🌸🌸🌸🌸
It's a famous franchise among Peruvians, so it seems that each branch has different likes and dislikes.
The menu consists of barbecue chicken, French fries, and salad,
and the advantage is that it's barbecued rather than fried, so it's soft and less greasy.
The corn drink, Chicha Morada, also has a unique flavor and is clean.
A place where a delicious meal awaits you💕

South America, Peru, embracing Spain, “Lima Plaza de Armas”🇵🇪🏰🇪🇸
The plane departing from the Iberian Peninsula takes 13 hours to arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru. We are familiar with Cusco and Machu Picchu!
Lima's Plaza de Armas, a historically important place with a lot of Spanish influence, is full of Spanish flavor!
The entire plaza is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so wherever you look, it is quaint.
If I get the chance, I want to crack open some fresh pecans and eat them again^0^
