Walking from the grand fortress, passing by numerous high-rise buildings, it seems like the whole island is filled with condos. Strolling around, I found a dumpling shop with a long queue, so I ordered a box full of vegetable dumplings. Upon reaching Tap Seac Square, I took a break and enjoyed the dumplings. There's a Macau convenience store at the intersection, and kids were practicing dance moves. It seems like there might be a performance at night, possibly a festival being held here. The buildings around here are very brightly colored, a must-visit for Instagram enthusiasts to get many great photos.

Bishan park is located in Bishan district. It has 7 separate large playgrounds that encircle a massive lake. You can rent a boat for ¥75 (30 minute rental) and sail around the lake. On the east side of the park near the boat dock there is a “history walk” that has several exhibits filled with historical artifacts from China’s past. There was an old printing press , an old classroom setup , an old textile machine and a few other educational exhibits. My son and his friend loved playing in the exhibits (they were all interactive!) and exploring the park! The park was very tidy and had several public restrooms. The highlight of the day was definitely the huge slides that the playgrounds had! I’d never seen slides so large before!
