Camogli 🇮🇹 | A New Summer by the Ligurian Sea
#summervacay
By the end of May,
a new summer was born on the Ligurian coast. 🌞🌊
I wandered into a tiny shop by the harbor,
bought a pot of freshly fried fish 🐟 and a cute fridge magnet 🧲 —
just like that, Camogli won my heart.
📍Castello della Dragonara — I stood there watching the sea breathe.
Then strolled along the shoreline,
passing colorful houses, beach bookstores, and artisan shops full of charm.
📮 Picked up some dreamy postcards from a little seaside bookshop.
The air smelled like fried fish, sea salt, and cold beer.
It smelled like summer.
🍽️ Had the catch of the day for lunch at a seaside restaurant —
X'odò Osteria, highly recommend!
I wanted to try the famous focaccia too,
but my stomach was full and my heart fuller.
Next time, for sure.
🌆 If you’re based in Milan and longing for the sea,
Camogli is such a perfect escape.
From Milano Centrale to Camogli-San Fruttuoso,
there’s a direct morning train — 7:25 AM to 9:53 AM.
Yes, it’s a bit long,
but when the sea calls… how can you say no? 💙

Deiva Marina 🇮🇹
#summerdestinations
This summer, I spent a fantastic day at Deiva Marina, a hidden gem on the Ligurian coast of Italy. 🌊🌞 Located between Cinque Terre and Portofino, Deiva Marina is perfect for those seeking a quieter alternative to the more crowded tourist spots. The best part? There’s no entrance fee to enjoy its beautiful beaches and scenic views.
The town's sandy beach was the highlight of my visit, with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. I also loved wandering through the charming streets lined with pastel-colored houses and enjoying fresh seafood at a local trattoria.
For nature enthusiasts, nearby hiking trails offer breathtaking views of the coastline and lead to picturesque villages like Moneglia and Framura. A short train ride can take you to the stunning Cinque Terre villages or the elegant Portofino, making Deiva Marina an ideal base for exploring the region. Deiva Marina’s relaxed vibe and natural beauty made it a memorable part of my summer vacation. #DeivaMarina #LigurianCoast #HiddenGem #SummerInItaly
