#familytrips2024 I have always told myself that at least once in my life, I need to experience the sunset cruise with the man I love most. When I had the chance to visit Langkawi on February 2024, I took the opportunity to book the sunset cruise package. It was late in the afternoon, around 4.00 pm when we were gathered at the Langkawi Yacht Club. Many people were already there with their nice outfit. Our cruise will start at 4.30 pm. We sailed further down into the Andaman Sea. Foods and drinks were serve all the time. After about one and a half hours sailing, we anchored down and guests were given the opportunity to jump off and go for a swim. My husband took the opportunity to splash around the open sea while I prefer to take photos and video recording. After 40 minutes of swimming and relaxing, we continued cruising further down the Andaman Sea off Langkawi with a slow and steady speed while waiting for the main event, watching the sunset. When the sun began to set, you can see a wonderful colours in the sky, a mixture or red, orange, yellow and blue. Stunning, beautiful, mesmerizing. It was such an amazing moment for myself and my husband. I have been to Langkawi few times but never visit Langkawi Craft Complex. Our flight has been delayed so we decide to go to Langkawi Craft Complex. I thought it will be a boring tour. Suprisingly, this place is so amazing and underrated. The building is so huge ! They have few sections. My favourite one is Craft Revolution Galery. They gather all idea of craft revolution from Malaysian Artist. They did great job ! The entrance fee is FREE ! The last section will be Batik section. You can see a lot of amazing work from our local artist. You can see how they color the batik there. You also can buy their artwork. The price is affordable. You should try to color batik. Its only RM10. Overall, such amazing experience with my kids. Langkawi mangrove tour is one of the best activity that you need to explore when visiting Langkawi. It is a truly unforgettable experiences ❤️😍 We can cruise peacefully along the river and enjoy the nature. we can choose either to follow the sharing journey with other team or private boat. i went there with my husband and daughter, chartered a private boat. it is more covenience for us. Rebak Island is a Resort away from the Langkawi Island. You may enjoyed the silent/quite and quite environment during the stay period. From Langkawi Island to the resort, you may take a schedule boat ride which provided by the resort and the journey is take about 10 minutes. The room are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast is quite standard Buffett. Facility in this resort is good enough, if you would like to have some exercise, may go to their gym room. A nice place to have a low priced western dinner. The place is rather small and by a busy road, but the environment is quite cozy. I love all the food that we ordered. Everything we took was tasty. There were so many dishes and I really can't name it all. 👍🏻 Had a great meal here. Atmosphere was great and the staffs were attentive. Taste wise, we have no complains and it is good. Natural bat cave. Need a boat ride to get there. Ticket is cheap, RM 2 for adults, RM 1 for kids. Torchlight is provided. The whole walk should take up to 30min. 😎 You will great by small monkeys. They allowed to be feed. Just bring some nuts. You can bought it before get into the speedboat. ⛵️ This place is really good. Although just a short distance walk...u can see the bat at a very close distance. There is a torchlight rental for rm1 per person. Take note that there is some passage section is flooded with water. I did not stay here but went to visit the much talked about resort in Langkawi - DASH Resort. It was magnificently constructed. Every part of the resort was picturesque. Though it was quiet on the day I went but the pool and the huge bunny caught my eye. Perhaps, on my next visit I might plan to stay here and get more eye catching photos. Easy access from the airport. And it’s just close by to Pantai Cenang too. There are a few shops within the vicinity of Dash. Very exclusively designed. The pool has a snack bar where you can gather for a drink or two and mingle with friends. I like the high view places so I decided to go there next day after my arrival to Langkawi! It was a great times. That place is very big. I meant the area before the sky bridge. It is more like adventure park for me. It contains a lot of restaurants and attractions! The bridge itself was worth the try even so it is a very commercial place, like you will extra pay for every move if you like to! Take an extra floor or elevator an etc! On the Langkawi sky cable make sure you visit the Sky Bridge which connects the Oriental village. The winds will sweep you away and the view is mesmerizing. If you are looking for a quiet, calm and a cottage style accommodation surrounded by lot of trees and plants, and a white sandy beach infront, Frangipani Langkawi Resort is the answer. It is located at Pantai Tengah area which is more secluded compared to the happening Pantai Chenang, but the location is not that far from Pantai Chenang area. This resort is very clean and calm, very suitable for those artistic person looking for inspiration or meditation. There’s a chlorine pool, salt water pool and jacuzzi for you to enjoy or you can just choose to bath and sunbathing at the beach. The beach is very clean and not too crowded. Everything is so near, within walking distance. You can also adopt a plant in this resort if you wish to. I did adopt a maroon frangipani since I am a plant enthusiast. For breakfast, they provide local and western cuisine. Do not forget to try their special dish “organic cream of kangkung soup”. Kangkung is a water spinach and a famous vegetable among the local. This is my first time having a cream of kangkung soup, and the taste is quite unique (usually most of the hotel I stay will serve mushroom or chicken soup). Spent quality time with my mother in Langkawi for 4 days. Happy to see my mother enjoyed her time there. We stayed in Malibest Premier Hotel. The room was so spacious and clean. It comes with spectacular beach view. The location of the hotel is also strategically central (Chenang Walk). Brought my mom to have a spa session at Alun-Alun Spa, also a spa just in front of our hotel. Also brought her to Mt Machincang Cable Car. The Underwater World was also a must-visit place.
