Admire the architecture of Holy Wat Kang
Wat Kang is one of seven sacred in Vang Vieng city, Laos. This temple is a Budhis Temple. Located in the north side of city center Vang Vieng, makes Wat Kang to be the place that should to visit in Vang Vieng.
The main building of Wat Kang was constructed in 1938, and when it was founded is unknown.
Why should visit Wat Kang:
Because Vang Vieng is a small town that has beautiful nature that gives peaceful vibes to people that live or visit there. And if you visit Wat Kang Temple you can feel the peacefulness of the town more deep.
That’s why for me the best time to visit temple in small town is in the morning before starting the day. Specially this temple has good exposure to sunlight in the morning. By visiting this temple in the morning will make your morning more meaningful.
About the architecture:
When you enter the temple from the gate, you will see the sitting big Budha Statue. There is also a reclining Budha Statue in Wat Kang. In the front of Reclining Budha, you can find four smaller Budha Statues.
Wat Kang has very well and beautiful decorations by painting. You can see mixed green, red and gold colors decorated in the painting. And what makes Wat Kang more beautiful, in the back area you can find small building decorated very beautiful with white, green and gold color and with mountains background.
Location: Wat Kang Temple, Vang Vieng, Laos.

A 4-day, 3-night trip to Luang Prabang during early May offers pleasant weather with occasional morning drizzles. The locals are friendly, the food is delightful, and here are some of the attractions visited:

- The morning market, with the highlight being the alms-giving with sticky rice.
- The night market.
- Aunt Tim's Som Tam (Luang Prabang style papaya salad is very delicious).
- The Royal Palace.
- Wat Xieng Thong.
- Le Banneton Café & French Bakery, recommended for its fragrant and affordable croissants.
Rafting in Muang Phueng, Laos 🇱🇦
This trip will take everyone to give alms in the morning at the most beautiful place.
Close to nature in Muang Phueng, Vientiane Province, Laos. Every morning at 06.30, the villagers will come to wait to give alms to the monks at the pier. The view in front of us is full of nature and mountains. The air is cool with fog in the morning and afternoon. The way of life of the villagers, farming, and restaurants here are called heaven on earth because anyone who comes to experience or try living here will definitely fall in love with this place.

Thakhek is the capital of Khammouane Province, Laos. It is considered another city with a long history of Laos. It is located on the banks of the Mekong River, opposite Nakhon Phanom Province, Thailand. Thakhek is full of beautiful natural attractions that are no less beautiful than other provinces of Laos. Spending 2days 2nights in Luang Prabang
Spending 2days 2nights in Luang Prabang during New Year days is such an incredible experience. I fly from my home country Cambodia to Lao on 13th of April. We stay at a hotel near riverside which is near the old quarter. The price for everything over there is very acceptable and Leslie there is nice and helpful. The first day of our trip we start by climbing Phusil mountain near our hotel where at the top we can do some praying at temple up there then when we come down local and tourist people start ceremony Sangran where they sing traditional song and music and there is elephant riding as well. It such a great memory and afterward we play some water gun fight in the afternoon. In the evening we do really enjoy our dinner with some beer and music there, we got to know one of the handsome and friendly waiter there. The next morning we rented a motorbike and went to Kuangsi water fall where I really enjoy swimming in the cool water there- I do really like water and swimming so it fantastic there , the view, the water, the forest— oh and there are few pandas zoo in there.. and on the way back we stop by a small restaurant where we enjoy our lunch with Mekong river view in-front of us. Overall, we really enjoy our holiday in LAO #luangprabang #Lao
One day trip to Vientiane, take the EMU train to Luang Prabang
Laos is very attractive at this time. It is easy to travel, not difficult to get to, and does not require a lot of budget. Most importantly, you can speak Thai. But it is strange that people like to say that Vientiane has nothing. But we think that the country is beautiful and peaceful. Today, we will take everyone to visit Vientiane before taking the high-speed train to Luang Prabang in the afternoon.
1. Start our trip. This trip, we started from Hua Lamphong. We traveled by air-conditioned first-class train, Isan Markka route, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:25 a.m. It was a very comfortable trip.
2. Arrive in Nong Khai, take a jumbo (tricycle) to the border.
3. Find something to eat at Krua Khun Pin restaurant.
4. Take a shutter bus across the border to Laos.
5. Rent a car to travel around Vientiane before being dropped off at the train station.
📍Vientiane half-day morning tour coordinates: -
- Nem Nuang Si Hom restaurant The famous Vietnamese spring roll shop in Vientiane
- Joma Bakery Cafe Joma is famous for its coffee and bread, delicious and reasonably priced
- Patuxai, a landmark of Vientiane, a must-visit when visiting Vientiane
- Pha That Luang, an important religious site in Vientiane, is another place you can’t miss
6. Vientiane High-speed Rail Station, recommended for advance booking
7. Take a van from the train station to Luang Prabang
8. Accommodation: Luang Prabang Resident The Boutique
9. Walk around the Luang Prabang Night Market to find something to eat
A one-day trip, take a rickshaw, find something to eat, stop by a cafe, check in at landmarks, take lots of photos, until we ourselves didn’t think Vientiane would be this nice. Come visit and you’ll know that Vientiane is better than we thought

Lost in Food Paradise in Vientiane, Laos
If you’re traveling to Laos, don’t skip to visit the capital city of Laos, Vientiane. I traveled to this city by Train from Bangkok, Thailand. It was nice experience for travel by the train to another country.
Then, arrived in Vientiane, i took the green bus cost 20.000 kip from station to the city center, you can find it easy in the train station.
Fortunately, I stayed near night market that’s called Sihom Night Market, located in the city center of Vientiane, not far from Vientiane Night Market.
Operatonal hours
Sihom night market operational hours is from 5 PM until 10 PM, it’s the good timing for looking for dinner.
Variant of food
You can find so many variations of food in this market with affordable prices. The market kinda sells somethings same with Thailand night market, but there are some foods also that they have in here but can’t find in Thailand night market.
In this night market, there are several stands of sushi’s, one sushi cost around 4000 kip, 5000 kip; several stands of pickles fruits; durians; barbecue meats; mochi; som tam; and many others.
Public facilities
You also can find some local restaurants in this night market. I only feel a shame because there is no public facilities for sitting around the night market to eat. I ended up brought the food from night market and brought the drink from local restaurants for sitting there.
But overall this night market is a food paradise in the middle of Laos capital city, Vientiane.

Vangvieng - Namsong Blue Bridge
I found this place on Google map when I was in Vangvieng, Laos. This is a great place to have some nice photoshoots !
There're some caves inside - I forgot the name maybe sleeping cave and some activities like Zipline, Kayak (Looks fun! unfortunately, that day was raining)
Most tourists use motorbike to travel around Vangvieng city. I've been there around July - raining all day! I recommend, December-February will be a good timing 🫶🏻 #vangvieng #lao #laos #natural #zipline #cave
