Assmannshausen, a German wine town, enjoy the Rhine River by cable car
Finally came the 3rd day, leave Lahnstein B&B and drive 50 minutes south to the red wine town 🏘Assmannshausen (Assmannshausen) to play the aerial cable car🥳.
Find a free parking lot near the cable car station, park your car and walk about 5 minutes to the cable car station Niederwald-Seilbahn.
Assmannshausen is a very quiet red wine town, along the way you see many forts and very well-organized huts, beautiful 💕!
The price of the cable car round trip is €10/Adult, €5/Child, cash 💵. Because I don't have cash in my body, I have to go back to the bank in the town to click the money, holding the UK debit card has been clicked, very convenient 😊. You can also take photos of train tracks on the way to pay ✌🏻.
Before boarding the cable car, take a picture with the Höllenberg wine estate run by the Hesse State Winery behind it📸.
This aerial cable car can only be used by two people, and it's quite addictive. There are steps before boarding, first step on the indicated footprints, watch the cable car arrive, gently jump on the car, and pull the armrest back down, quite fun 👏🏻! The cable car speed is quite slow, maybe to give us time to enjoy the beautiful scenery 😅.
Sitting on the cable car up the hillside on the other side, you can see the Höllenberg wine estate🍇 operated by the Hesse State Winery.
The green vineyards on the hillside match the Rhine River.
The scenery ✨, the view is very beautiful, indeed fascinating 🥰.
When you reach the top of the hill there is a deer park where you can feed. A little further there seems to be another cable car station to the wine estate, if you have time you can go and look. We walked around and were ready to go down the mountain, where we can overlook the view of the Rhine River again🥰.
