The scenic train from Danang to the Imperial City Hue, Vietnam.
Get to Hue by train is very enjoyable trip, the train will take you through Hai Van pass, run by the ocean and let you slowly enjoy the view.
They will make one stop in Lang Co Bay and you are allowed to get out, have a look at the view and buy some snacks called “bánh bột lọc” (the 5th picture). It’s really good.
By night, you can enjoy the live traditional Vietnam music on the dragon boat in Huong river.
The train ticket costs 190k VND (~8€) for one way trip.
Remember to try the Vietnamese Salted Coffee in Hue (the motherlands of this beverage). It could wake you up with just a sip.

If you're in Hue, make sure to stop by February 3 Park, especially when the flowers are in full bloom. The park comes alive with vibrant colors, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. It's a great spot for a relaxing stroll, enjoying the natural beauty, or taking photos of the blossoming flowers.
Located near the Perfume River, this park is a popular place for both locals and tourists, especially during the blooming season.
Best Time for Blossoms: Visit in the early spring for the most spectacular flower displays, usually around February and March (we were there in February)

Half day i
Half day inside Imperial city. Not many activities on the day we visited but this is definitely a beautiful place for exploring heritage architecture, Vietnamese history and culture. Rent the Ao dai or traditional Vietnamese costume, take a walk along ancient walls and immerse in historical moments.

Go to Hue without Hue | Hue Vietnam 🇻🇳
Arriving in Da Nang, Vietnam, another place you don't want to miss is Hue, which is 2 hours away from Da Nang. We chose to take the bus (we were actually going to take the train, but every time the tickets were sold out🥹). But taking the bus was another kind of fun, plus we had a lot of travel companions😍
For dressing up when traveling in Hue, I recommend buying or renting an Ao Dai costume. I guarantee you'll get beautiful pictures like Vietnamese people~
📍Hue Imperial City Hoàng thành Huế or Dai Noi Palace is a forbidden city in Central Vietnam. People inside are forbidden from leaving and people outside are forbidden from entering. There are 3 layers of city walls on the banks of the Perfume River, which was inspired by the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. The entrance fee to Hue Imperial City is 200,000 VND/person.
📍Colorful Incense Village Làng hương Thủy Xuân is another place that is very suitable for taking pictures because they have arranged a photo corner surrounded by colorful incense sticks. There are many shops and styles to choose from. Every shop has props to choose from for free, plus there are staff to take pictures for you. Don't be afraid that you won't be able to pose because they take good care of you. You'll definitely get beautiful photos. P.S. All photos are free, but you have to support their products.
📍Before you go back, I recommend taking a walk on Walking Street. This street is very lively. There are many restaurants, dessert shops, and bars to choose from. Plus, the beer here is very cheap. Every bar plays music, has a DJ, and beautiful outdoor dancers. *I didn't post the photos.🥹

Mother's Day on the Perfume River
Mother's Day on the Perfume River in the third lunar month is an affectionate way to refer to the Hon Chen Temple Festival (also known as the Thien Y A Na Thanh Mau Festival) which takes place in the third lunar month every year in Hue. This is one of the most unique folk religious festivals of the ancient capital, closely associated with the Mother Goddess worship and spiritual culture of the Vietnamese people. #huecity #beauty

A warm sunny afternoon at Lang Co Beach Resort
Dreamy Hue of Vietnam
My trip to Hue was truly memorable, filled with rich experiences in cuisine and culture. I tried salt coffee, a delightful combination of the strong flavor of coffee with a hint of salt, along with fresh and flavorful Bún Trộn and colorful Cơm Chay, reflecting the refinement of the local cuisine. Hue is known for its prominent Buddhist culture, exemplified by the sacred Thien Mu Pagoda, which features unique architecture and a peaceful atmosphere that brought tranquility to my soul. I also visited Tu Hieu Monastery, a place that offers a sense of serenity and deep historical significance. The pristine beauty and fresh air of Thien An Hill deepened my appreciation for the nature here. I explored the Imperial City, which holds many fascinating historical stories, and strolled along the Perfume River, where I enjoyed picturesque views. A highlight of my trip was the historic Truong Tien Bridge, an architectural gem and symbol of the city. These experiences enriched my soul and made me fall in love with Hue even more, and I am certain I will return in the future! #huecity #vietnam
A Must Visit Hue Vietnam Timeless Beauty
It's their winter season. It's perfect to walk around the Hue Citadel. I would normally avoid tour guides as I think they are overrated and can simply search Google on the places to check but getting a private car that speaks English made me reconsider. It was so much more worthwhile and meaningful to visit places when you understand it. All thanks to VM Travel. I got their services half way of my Vietnam Adventure but they made everything perfect for me at affordable price.
Important Note: Forget diet when in Hue. Everything is delicious. 😅😋
