It transforms into a glowing theatre of steel, glass, and light. I came here after sunset, when the city’s energy softens into something almost magical. The air was cooler, the crowd thinner, and all eyes—mine included—were fixed on the skyline. Across the lake, CBD towers lit up in synchrony, flashing bold colors, moving graphics, and LED stories that rippled across buildings like a living mural. Each skyscraper seemed to join a silent symphony, painting the sky with technology and ambition. With every reflection dancing in the still water, it felt like I was watching Shenzhen dream out loud. And in that soft night breeze, I stood still—awed, inspired, completely present. Getting there: Take Shenzhen Metro Line 2 or 11 to Houhai Station, Exit E. Walk about 10 minutes west to reach the park.
