Hidden Gem Southern Restaurant
Travel Dlux invites everyone to experience the charm of Baan Dala by Angkana, a hidden gem southern restaurant located in Soi Kasem San 3, near BTS National Stadium. It stands out with its white colonial-style house decorated with flowers and artwork, adding life to this house, which has both food, warmth, and the classic feel of an old wooden house that is over 120 years old.
The menu of Chef Annie, the owner of the restaurant who grew up on Koh Phangan, makes the menu here unique, conveying the taste of authentic southern food meticulously. Signature menus include Koh Phangan rice salad and Baan Dala's Khanom Jeen set. Don't miss it! The set includes green chicken curry, crab curry, fish entrail curry, and a special menu of yellow curry with young coconut shoots and sea bass, and a mother-in-law's chili paste set, served with a full range of side dishes. It's really great!
Another recommended menu is the Seafood Set, which brings the fresh seafood of Baan Dala to you, including river prawns, three-flavor fried fish, grilled squid, large, juicy scallops, served with delicious seafood sauce, curry sauce, stir-fried chili and ginger sauce, as well as cakes and special recipe drinks. Using Dala flowers as ingredients, such as Dala Delight ice cream, Dala jam croissants, and hard-to-find Khanom Kho, Dala Sparkling drink, Pailin Busara, refreshing after eating, is an impression that I want to tell others about because Baan Dalaa is not just a restaurant, but a place that makes you feel like time has stopped. The food is meticulous in each menu, plus the atmosphere that helps fill you with happiness. When you come, you will be both full and satisfied.
