Hong Kong Disneyland may be the small compared to the other Disneylands, but that does not makes it less enjoyable. In fact, the shorter queues and lesser crowd makes it much more relaxing. It is a great entry point to visiting Disney parks if you have not been to one and is rather intimidated by the effort required in planning a visit. Do not miss the stage shows, The Festival of the Lion King and Mickey & the Wondrous Book. Mystic Manor which is exclusive to Hong Kong is very much enjoyable too, and great for younger kids who might not dare to try the Haunted Mansion in other Disneylands. The final show, Momentous, at park closing should not be missed. Tip: Shop throughout the day when you go around the park rather than leaving it until the last for Main Street. Hong Kong is famous for its skyline and most of its iconic skyscrapers are centred around Admiralty - and one of the best places to appreciate them is Hong Kong Park. This green oasis stretches from admiralty station to the base of the peak tram and offered a substantial area of green space in the financial hub - something quite rare in a city with such expensive real estate. On the outskirts of the Park you have an old fire station, countless sky scrappers and great spots to take photos of the bustling tram routes. In the park there are koi ponds, an aviary, lots of weather features and statues - a long with a wedding venue which is pretty random but cute. If you are heading to Hong Kong for shopping you have to check out Causeway bay, one of the busiest shopping spots in the city. No matter what you are looking for you will find it here, from high street brands to exclusive luxury and everything inbetween. The area has often been one of the busiest shopping areas in the world, and righlty so. It is a huge built up area with various different shopping zones that have developed within, you have global flahsgips of brands such as H&M, American Eagle & Uniqlo - along with independant shops selling budget clothes from Mainland China. There are smaller shops towards the waterfront that house a lot of sports brands such as Nike, adidas, converse and New Balance along with a lot of european style restaurants. It is also a lot quieter here and a great spot to take a break inbetween the shopping. There are also various malls such as Times square that have all your classic high end designer brands, something that Hong Kong has become famous for. There are also plenty of little markets in back streets for souveniers, gifts and wholesale clothing. Also keep an eye out for the pharmacy brands, they sell lots of discounted branded skincare and it's often cheaper to stock up here than head to the department stores - the staff are also super helpful in these shops! The forbidden city is one of the most iconic landmarks in Beijing and in China as a whole, an area that helps to highlight the history of this nation and it’s incredible art and culture. It is notoriously hard to get into and China itself isn’t the easiest place to visit, so the Hong Kong Palace museum offers you the chance to experience highlights of the collection in Hong Kong. Opened to celebrate 25 years of the handover of Hong Kong in 2022 this museum is the centerpiece of the new Kowloon cultural district. The building itself is incredibly well constructed and designed, you are able to enter easily and then follow a numbered gallery system to travel through the various exhibits. As you move up the building and move through the galleries you see some of the most beautiful and breathtaking pieces from the forbidden city collection. There are exhibits about the buildings themselves, the furniture and art within along with objects and clothing from the time that help you get a sense of the world around the palace. There are very interesting exhibits on defence and warfare to help you understand the troubles of the time, the Armour and weapons being a personal highlight for me. The building itself is also very impressive, the design is light and airy with lots of exposed views of the city around - there is a viewing platform on the outer areas of the mid floors and gives some of the best uninterpreted views across the harbour at the central districts. Overall this is a fascinating glimpse into one of the most secretive locations in the world, I would highlight recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong. HK is known for its sprawling buildings that that surround Victoria Harbour, one of the best ways to take it all in is crossing the harbour itself. The easiest say is the metro under the water but that’s not as fun as the star ferry. An icon Of Hong Kong the Star Ferry’s have a long history within the city and are known all around the world. They are also heavily subsided by the government and are one of the cheapest ways to cross the water. It’s only $5 and you can use octopus card or buy tokens at the dock Head to ocean terminals in Tsim Tsa Sui to cross to central and make sure you get the upper deck to get the best or the views! Hong Kong is infamous for it's towering skyline and bustling streets, it really is an iconic concrete jungle. The skyline is ever changing and there are always new landmarks being added to the lineup. One of my favourite places for these icons is Admirality, there is so much history here and such an incredible range of architectural styles - the contrast is stunning. The newest addistion being the HEnderson, one of the most expensive real estate sales in history - and one of the last designs by the late Zaha Hadid. If you want to take in these sights and really get a feel for the urban jungle that Hong Kong has tunred into, there is a great walk from Central to Admiralty with some great view points of the skyline. Start at the Central escalators and head to the very top, when you get there take a left and follow the signs for admiralty. As you come to the end of the first street you start to see the skyline emerge between the buildings and you get some amazing shots of new HK through the older towers in central, the residential buildings frame some of the landmark towers such as the Bank Of America Tower. Then you have some interesting concrete walkways they wind their way over, under and around the roads taking you down to Admiralty. Had late lunch on Saturday afternoon and it was a very pleasant experience. The three of us ordered 4 tapas and a squid ink rice. The food was very good and they came in a larger portion than usual Spanish tapas. So I think just 3 tapas should have been plenty for us. make sure to visit bakehouse! definitely worth the queue to the egg tarts the victoria peak was fun, hiked up, but actually we bought tickets to take the tram too! nice view of the HK skyline walked around Central and Sheung wan, lotsa cultural things such as stamps, carved name stamps, antique shops, food, 龟苓膏 (traditional herbal jelly), which was HKD40! very yummy #travel #hong_kong

The Ladies' Street (Tung Choi Street), Sneakers Street (Four Garden Street) and Goldfish Street, located near the Mong Kok Station and Prince Edward Station of the Hong Kong MTR, are also a whole shopping district where you can go shopping on your own in Hong Kong. Electronic 3C products, bags and clothing, daily groceries, etc. are sold in each street with their own characteristics. You can come and see what the local residents like to shop for 👌 and how the style of the things sold there is different from those sold in Taiwan. As we walked along, I felt that it was a bit like the vegetable market in Taiwan, where there were many daily necessities, bags, clothing, fresh fruits, etc. It was just like the place where grandma or mom would go to buy vegetables in the morning at home. It was very local and interesting! We also saw the way goldfish are sold in Hong Kong.
