Recommended places to see lavender fields in Provence, France
#NewYearNewTrip
Recommended lavender fields Gordes and Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque
In addition to the two major lavender fields in Provence, Valensole also has Gordes and a beautiful church nearby, Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque.
Travel 🚍 It is recommended to rent a car because Gordes, the most beautiful village in France, has a bus, but there is only one bus per day and you have to change buses in Cavallion, which is not convenient at all. If you go this way, you will only be able to visit Gordes, but it is much more difficult to plan, so it is recommended to rent a car to travel, which is much more convenient.

Recommend hiking spots near Marseille
#NewYearNewTrip
If you are looking for a natural place near a big city like Marseille, I would like to recommend Calanques National Park. It is suitable for hiking. You should spend the whole day because there are many steep slopes for exercising, but it is worth it for the beautiful view. Another place I would like to recommend is a hidden beach in a valley called Calanque d'En-vau, which is a place where many people come to relax after hiking.

[Avignon, France] The walled city of Provence
(Paris) The ride from Gare de Lyon to Avignon TGV station takes about 2 hours 40 minutes to 3 hours. You can get there by TGV (high-speed train).
This time I used a Eurail Pass (Eurail France Pass 4 days). Since I was traveling alone, I didn't have to worry about the seat, so I chose a second-class ticket, but I didn't have any concerns about safety or comfort.
*The pass is only valid for the boarding ticket, so you must reserve and purchase a separate seat ticket each time you board. Please be careful.
● "le Palais des Papes"
Avignon Papal Palace General admission fee €12
At the Papal Palace, you can borrow an AR explanation tablet, and the screen shows how the rooms were used at the time, allowing you to imagine what life was like.
● "LE PONT SAINT BENEZET"
Pont Saint-Bénézet General admission €4
When you leave the city to the northwest, you will come across a bridge that collapsed halfway and was left behind outside the city walls.
Walking across the bridge is of course a famous tourist spot, but personally, I thought the view across the river from outside the city was GOOD.
*Please note that the museum is closed on certain days.
All prices are as of September 2022.

Lavender Fields of Provence: A Purple Paradise
#francetrip
Imagine endless fields of fragrant lavender stretching out before you under the warm Provençal sun. Visiting the lavender fields in Provence is a sensory experience like no other. The best time to visit is in late June through August when the fields are in full bloom. Head to places like Valensole or Sault for some of the most picturesque views and be sure to explore local lavender markets to pick up essential oils, soaps, and other souvenirs. It’s a perfect spot for photography, with the deep purple rows of lavender contrasting against the blue sky. A trip to Provence during lavender season offers tranquility and beauty that will stay with you long after your visit. #100WaysofTravel #France #Provence #LavenderDream
A summer of French lavender
#summerdestinations
Provence is a feast for the senses. From bustling cities to hilltop villages to the Roman ruins and endless fields of Lavender. This stunner packs a punch for a summer holiday goer.
Personally, I can’t think about any better summer getaway like the one i had in Provence, France. There ofcourse are bits that cannot be shared. But during my 4 days in Provence I did see the best of it. Our two days in Valensole were clearly some of the most amazing in my entire life. The long stretches of lavender and sunflower fields were a photographers dream. Then there was the charming French villages and the opportunity to picnic and siesta next to a breathtaking lake. It will leave you mind with some of the most beautiful visual memories for a lifetime. I do recommend visiting when the lavender is in full bloom, which is usually from the beginning of July towards mid July only.
Valensole would be the best place to stay but if you wish to save more or say you're on a budget. The. perhaps Manosque should be considered. A little off the way, still nothing beats saving money! Another top tip is to make sure you visit
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. It was by far the most picturesque French town I ever came across. My mind is filled with lavender thoughts. I think you have to see a sunset there for yourself to comprehend what I'm talking about!#summerdestinations #vivelafrance #Provence #USA #Insta
Euro Influenced Village
Outside of Seoul accessible by subway or bus. From Hapjeong station you can take bus 2200 or 7300; it takes about 45 minutes. When you get off, it is about a 15 minutes walk to the village.
I arrived when the sun was still out. There weren’t many people but as the lights came on more people came. Good for taking pictures and date nights. I enjoyed the glass house the most. A greenhouse connected to some shops. You can also purchase food to feed the fish in the pond.
They have shops, cafes and restaurants to eat at. I had the pizza cooked in a kiln oven.

Visit the medieval village of Eze, France
So cute! Éze village, a village on a hill in southern France
Another interesting place to visit near Nice is "Eze", one of the most beautiful villages in France, registered as a World Heritage Site. It is located on the Moyenne Corniche (RN7) between Nice and Monaco, along the Eze-sur-Mer coast in the French Riviera. The easiest way is to take bus number 82 from Nice city center, which costs only 1.5€ per trip. It takes only half an hour to get there. It runs along the hill, and the road winds a bit.
What you should have is a good pair of sneakers because to explore this village, we have to walk up a hill all the way, which is 429 meters above sea level. Although there are stairs, they are very steep. Plus, the ground is made of large rocks, which is typical of old towns in France. If you are not well prepared, you may not have much fun.
The atmosphere is lovely like a fairy tale town with pastel-colored houses, mostly yellow or soft pink, which is very charming. These are all old Roman-style buildings that are thousands of years old. The inside has been renovated into shops selling handicrafts and natural products from Provence. And then there are restaurants and cafes for chilling out and getting a great atmosphere.
A must-see is the Église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, a Baroque architecture with exquisite paintings on the ceiling. Then there is a panoramic viewpoint that was once a fortress to spy on enemies all around. One of the best viewpoints is in the Jardin Exotique garden, which has many rare and exotic plants. There is a small entrance fee, but if you have a French Riviera pass, you can enter for free.

Exploring Simiane-la-Rotonde
#celebratewithtrip
Simiane-la-Rotunde is a picturesque village, with an attractive medieval heart to explore. From the gardens and terraces set out on the sides of the streets, you can appreciate the spectacular view of the purple fields of lavender. For many years, Simiane was the regional capital of lavender and today remains an important production centre. The time we reach there was not blooming season. Definitely will come back again for lavender blooming season.

Beautiful Gordes
#celebratewithtrip
The village of Gordes is located in the Luberon, a spectacular region in the heart of Provence. Gordes is one of the most well-known hilltop villages in the region, and one of the most beautiful in France. Many agree that Gordes is the most beautiful hilltop village in Provence and for good reason: winding streets, cobblestone paths, and stunning views.

The village of Lurs
#celebratewithtrip
This is a very attractive and very picturesque village, perched on a narrow butte overlooking the Durance valley. Lurs (you pronounce the "s") is a tourist village, but not too well known and not too crowded. This little village boasts with narrow streets where the wind seems to play with wind chimes and wild flowers. Definitely worth for a visit if you are In Provence.

Monastery Saint-Paul de Mausole
#celebratewithtrip
Great place to visit, not only if you appreciate Van Gogh! Very peaceful and charming backyard. You can visit Van Gogh's room. The building is beautifully kept as is the courtyard and gardens. Walking to the monastery from the lovely town of St Remy de Provence is itself a treat and you really feel that you are walking in history. A magical experience that you should not miss if you are in the area.

L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE
The boutique is beautiful and massive. On top of already discounted prices, they have lots of items and gift sets on sale. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Besides shopping for loccitane products, you can visit their garden and mini muzuem. The museum offers a pretty good tour. The garden is gorgeous.

Marseille central railway station
#NewYearNewTrip
The central train station of Marseille is Gare de Marseille Saint-Charles, which is the main station of
Marseille in France. It is located in the city center and is a station that connects train travel to various points in France, including the bus station and the port of Marseille. Inside the station, there are many shops and restaurants. If you have to travel in the morning, there are also shops selling coffee and bread for you to buy and eat on the train.

Christmas Market @ Aix en Provence
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Invite you to walk around the Christmas Market in Aix en Provence, a city located in the south of France. The market is set up at the fountain square along the Cours Mirabeau pedestrian street, where there are food stalls, drinks, shops and a playground for children. Overall, it is like a general Christmas Market in other cities, but in Aix en Provence, you will get a more local atmosphere.

Such a coo
Such a cool place to visit, between les gorges du Verdon and Marseille, best part is that it’s free ! Just need to have a car ! Don’t take highway in France, there is so much to see on route national.
