The hidden little luck of New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere
#The strange experience has increased again.
Guess where I am®
I never dreamed that the first time I participated in the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony was in the southern half of the earth. At the end of the ceremony of the city with Little Fuji of New Zealand, I was treated as a Japanese and said Japanese to me
I chatted with the tea artist and the host and said that l went to Japan twice, but I didn't expect to participate in this ceremony for the first time in New Zealand.
The host's humorous reply is that this is the third time you have been to Japan. The bricks and tiles of the house are all imported from Japan, including stones.
And today's ceremony, everyone also crawled in like the most traditional samurai in and out.
At the beginning, I came to this city because I realized my wish not to go to Mount Fuji. Today, I experienced the super authentic Tea Ceremony here
Every detail evokes the picture of "Every Day is a Good Day". Everything that happened is not real.
Ps This activity is only available during the GardenFestival in NewPlymouth on 11.1-10. You need to book tickets online (2024 tickets have been sold out. It is recommended to buy tickets one month in advance next year)
$15 The whole ceremony lasts about an hour.
Photos are not allowed during the ceremony.
You can take photos at will after the end. It's a pity that you couldn't record the process of the ceremony.

Bustling waterfront
Most of our trips to clarke quay have been for eating and drinking. Clarke Quay is home to an array of amazing bars that cater to every taste and preference. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy craft cocktails or a lively bar with live music and dancing, you'll find it all here. The energy and liveliness of the bars complement the beauty of the surroundings, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the company of friends or loved ones.
The lively vibe and the waterfront setting are an experience in itself. For those not wanting to spend on food or other pricey things here could simply stroll around the place in the evening. Overall, Clarke Quay offers a unique experience that seamlessly combines breathtaking views with an exciting nightlife scene.

Great activity
The Botanic Gardens is also accessible by train and bus which is great for tourists who are mostly relying on public transport. Inside the Botanic Gardens there are restaurants and shops when rest is needed or wanting to try new cuisines that the Garden has to offer. Make sure a sturdy walking shoes is worn, because they’ll be lots of walking while admiring all the eye catching flowers.
Don’t forget water for hydration. The Orchid Garden, even though there’s a fee for the entrance, is definitely worth it. The beautiful orchids they have there are so lovely. It by chance there’s no time to explore the other parts of the garden, this should be on the priority list not to miss. Singapore Botanic Garden has the most orchids in the world in their garden.

Beautiful
This is an absolute must visit in Singapore. In a city full of modern amenities it's nice to find classic religious culture and architecture. It's a free temple with four floors plus a basement and rooftop. The basement has parking while the roof has a garden (no elevator to the roof).
The first floor has a HUGE statue and many smaller ones honoring Buddha and protector spirits. You can also buy donation pieces at the entries. The museum on the third floor is great, but the highlight it the fourth floor which has the tooth. Be absolutely sure to respect the rules of visiting that room! Read all the signs for a great insight into the temple beliefs.
