🥐 Elevated Mornings at Club Millésime – Sofitel Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast at Club Millésime, the executive lounge at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur, was truly a standout experience. Located on level 22, the lounge offered a peaceful, private setting with a touch of class that made the start to our day feel special and indulgent.
What really elevated the experience was the service. Mr. Ekbar, one of the staff, remembered us and even greeted us by name—something you don’t expect but truly appreciate. It instantly made us feel like valued guests and not just another room number.
He recommended the Petite Filet Mignon Tournedos “Rossini”, a made-to-order dish that was nothing short of luxurious for breakfast. The filet was cooked beautifully—tender, juicy, and flavorful. Never thought I’d be having gourmet steak for breakfast, but here we are! It was indulgent in the best way.
The coffee, as expected from a place of this standard, was rich and satisfying. Combined with the warm service and the quiet exclusivity of the lounge, this breakfast experience was one for the books.
If you’re staying at Sofitel KL and have access to Club Millésime, don’t miss out. It’s not just breakfast—it’s an experience.

🥣 A Taste of Nostalgia at Teochew Lao Er Restaurant, KL
While hunting for authentic Teochew food in Kuala Lumpur, I came across Teochew Lao Er Restaurant on social media and decided to give it a try. We arrived for a late lunch around 2pm and were seated right away—no queue, no rush, just perfect timing.
The restaurant itself is simply decorated but carries a sense of heritage. You can feel the old-school charm the moment you step in, especially with a variety of traditional Teochew snacks and kuehs displayed near the entrance. It brought back childhood memories instantly.
I had the kuay chup, and my wife opted for the traditional Teochew fish porridge. Both dishes nailed the nostalgic flavor—clean, comforting, and exactly how I remember meals tasting when I was younger in Singapore. The fish porridge, in particular, reminded me of something my mum would cook at home.
And of course, no Teochew meal is complete without yam paste (orh nee). This version was a standout, served with orange peel and preserved winter melon, something I don’t usually see in Singapore. It added a unique depth and aroma that really impressed me.
The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive, and prices were reasonable considering the quality and heritage of the dishes.
If you’re Teochew or simply appreciate traditional, honest cooking, this place is definitely worth visiting. It’s not just a meal—it’s a warm trip down memory lane.

🍜 Comforting Broth, But Offal Missed the Mark at Omega Pork Noodle – Mid Valley
Dropped by Omega Pork Noodle at Mid Valley Megamall for a quick bite and was greeted by friendly and welcoming service, which set a nice tone for the meal. The broth was definitely the highlight—flavorful, balanced, and comforting. It had that rich, porky depth you hope for in a bowl of pork noodles.
Unfortunately, the offal didn’t quite live up to expectations. The kidneys and liver were overcooked and tough, and the kidneys had a lingering aftertaste—suggesting they weren’t properly cleaned or prepped. The intestines also lacked that clean, springy texture you’d expect in a well-executed bowl.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for pork noodles if you’re here for the soup and friendly service. But if you’re picky about your offal, this may not hit the mark just yet. Hopefully they fine-tune their prep, because the broth alone shows potential.

☕ Relaxing Afternoon Vibes at Starbucks – IOI City Mall
We took a cozy break at Starbucks in IOI City Mall one afternoon, and it hit the spot perfectly. Situated in a bright, open corner near the walkway, it was ideal for a casual people-watching session and some downtime amid our mall exploration.
The baristas were friendly and the drinks were just as expected—smooth, well-crafted, and served with care. I enjoyed a rich latte topped with that familiar espresso foam, while the kids indulged in refreshing frappuccinos. The café had a calm buzz, with enough background activity to feel energized but never overwhelming.
Comfortable seating (both cozy chairs and community tables) made it easy to settle in with our drinks, chat, or just watch the mall life happen around us. Plus, the cleanliness and soft lighting added to the relaxing environment.
It was a simple joy—a familiar coffee break that felt just right during our day at the mall. For anyone shopping or exploring IOI City Mall, grabbing a coffee here is a lovely, low-key way to recharge.

🍽️ Malaysia’s Culinary Gems Under One Roof – Lot 10 Hutong Food Court
After a long 5-year hiatus, I finally returned to Lot 10 Hutong Food Court—and it was worth every bite. Tucked one level below the main floor of Lot 10, this food haven brings together famous street food stalls from all across Malaysia, from Penang to Ipoh.
Spoiled for choice, we eventually narrowed it down to claypot chicken rice, freshly made char siew chee cheong fun, Ipoh’s shredded chicken hor fun, and a couple of classic Hainan coffee and tea. Every dish delivered on flavor, and we cleared our plates without hesitation.
The food court wasn’t crowded during our visit, and we found seats easily. With air-conditioning and a clean, comfortable setting, it’s an ideal place to enjoy traditional Malaysian street food without the sweltering heat. There’s no way to try everything in one go—definitely worth repeat visits.

🍜 A Taste of Hong Kong at Mak’s Chee, Mid Valley
Craving authentic Cantonese noodles, we stopped by Mak’s Chee at Mid Valley to give this renowned Hong Kong franchise a try. We went with the signature wanton noodles and braised beef noodles—and they did not disappoint. The noodles had that classic springy bite, exactly like the ones in Hong Kong. The wantons were generously filled and juicy.
The braised beef was tender and flavorful, soaking up the broth beautifully. A minor letdown was that the wanton noodles didn’t come with roasted pork, which felt like a missed opportunity. The curry fish balls were average and not particularly memorable.
Stick with the noodles—they’re the real highlight here.

M6 MLBB Live Experience at Axiata Arena KL 🎮🔥🇲🇾
Watching the MLBB M-Series tournament in person has always been one of my dreams — like, I need to go at least once in my life! As someone who's into gaming, this was a must-do for me 😍🎯.
So I finally made it happen — went there with my husband and my little brother, my ultimate gaming partner since we were kids 👾🫶. Sadly, our country’s team got knocked out before we even arrived 😅, so we didn’t get the chance to cheer for them in person.
But that didn’t stop us! We still had so much fun cheering for other teams, soaking up the hype, and enjoying the electric crowd energy together 🤩📣🔥. Being there live at Axiata Arena Kuala Lumpur, surrounded by passionate fans, really hit different — such an exciting and unforgettable experience.

Majestic Mornings at Sultan Abdul Samad Building 🇲🇾✨
If you're in Kuala Lumpur, Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a must-see! This iconic landmark is full of character, with its grand clock tower and Moorish-style architecture—totally giving off those old-world charm vibes 🏛️
We went there early in the morning, hoping to beat the crowd, but even at 8 AM, two tour buses had already arrived 😅 So yes, the earlier, the better if you're looking for that perfect photo without the crowd.
💡 Photo tip: To get the best full view of the building, cross to the other side of the road—that’s where the real magic happens with the background of whole building shots! 📸
📍 Bonus stop: Just a few minutes’ walk away is the River of Life—a peaceful spot where the river meets some artistic light displays at nights (I went there in the morning so there were no lights) and murals. Great for a quick stroll and more photo ops! 🌊💙

Farm In The City KL – A Fun and Hands-On Experience for the Whole Family
We brought the kids to Farm In The City during our recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip — especially for the little ones!
To be honest, we didn’t have much expectation going in, but we were pleasantly surprised. The farm is located about 30 minutes from the city centre by Grab, so it’s not too far out and makes for a great half-day outing.
Once inside, we found a wide variety of animals, from ponies to alpacas, birds, tortoises, rabbits, and even reptiles. What made it special was the interactive experience — the kids got to feed, touch, and even ride some of the animals. They loved the pony ride and feeding sessions, which were both safe and well-supervised.
The entire place is well laid out and pretty clean considering it’s a petting zoo. There’s also a small café inside for light bites and drinks, which came in handy after all the excitement.
We spent around 3 to 4 hours there, which was just right without the kids getting too tired. In terms of pricing, we thought it was very reasonable, especially given the variety of animals and activities available.
⸻
Final thoughts:
If you’re visiting KL with young children, Farm In The City is a great family-friendly attraction to consider. It’s educational, hands-on, and most importantly, fun — even the adults found it interesting and enjoyable!

Le Bar at Sofitel: Where Class Meets Comfort
Located just off the lobby of Sofitel Damansara, Le Bar Cocktail & Stories is an elegant spot perfect for a relaxed afternoon break or a quiet conversation over drinks. I stopped by for a mid-day treat and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the experience.
The ambience was refined yet welcoming, with tasteful music playing softly in the background — a nice contrast to the usual busy café scenes. I ordered some light snacks and a coffee, and both the food and presentation exceeded expectations. The pastries, in particular, were freshly made and delicious — delicate, flaky, and not overly sweet.
What made the visit even better was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive, and their professionalism added a touch of luxury to the experience.
Whether you’re staying at the hotel or simply in the area looking for a stylish and comfortable place to unwind, Le Bar is definitely worth a visit.

Char Siew Perfection at a Hidden Gem in Pavilion Damansara!
After a business appointment nearby, I found myself craving a good plate of wanton noodles and turned to Google Maps for help. That’s how I discovered Dai Cha Dim on Level 5 of Pavilion Damansara Heights.
It was already around 3pm, and the restaurant was completely quiet — almost as if I had the entire place to myself. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing solo lunch.
I ordered their signature wanton noodles and a pomelo mango sago for dessert. The char siew was a standout — tender, caramelized, and perfectly balanced between lean meat and fat. The noodles were springy and coated in a delicious sauce, while the wanton was generously filled and flavourful. The dessert rounded off the meal beautifully — refreshing, not overly sweet, and well prepared.
Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion. Overall, it was a satisfying meal in a comfortable and quiet setting. I’d gladly return for another solo lunch or even a casual catch-up with friends.

Hidden Gem for Japanese Food at Pavilion Damansara Heights – Rakuzen
While strolling through the top floor of Pavilion Damansara Heights in search of dinner, we stumbled upon Rakuzen, a Japanese restaurant that looked promising. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, so we were seated immediately and began browsing their menu.
We ordered a BBQ salmon fish head, beef nabe, a salad, and a beef dish. The standout of the evening was definitely the grilled salmon head — beautifully charred, rich in flavour, and perfectly oily (in the best way). The aroma alone was enticing, and the meat was tender without being overcooked.
The beef nabe came with a sweet and savoury broth that was comforting and balanced, and the beef itself was done just right to our requested doneness. Everything was well-prepared and served hot.
Service was attentive and polite throughout our meal, and we appreciated the calm and quiet ambiance of the restaurant. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and the location.

Curry Cravings Satisfied at Grandmama’s — Pavilion Damansara Heights
Dropped by Grandmama’s for a late lunch after checking out reviews on Google Maps. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded around 1pm, and I was promptly shown to a table.
Ordered their curry chicken nasi lemak and a chendol to round off the meal. The nasi lemak rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, with a satisfying coconut aroma. The curry gravy was thick, lemak, and full of flavour, but interestingly, the chicken itself felt like it hadn’t been stewed in the curry—it lacked depth and came across as a little bland on its own. That said, once dipped generously in the curry sauce, it worked well enough.
The chendol came with a generous portion of toppings, but it was average overall—nice, but not something I’d return specifically for.
Overall, a comfortable spot for a decent local meal if you’re around Pavilion Damansara Heights. Service was fast and efficient, and the environment was relaxed. Worth a visit for the curry gravy alone!

Roast Meat Heaven at Sunway Pyramid – Don’t Miss the Pork Belly!
Stopped by Village Roast Duck at Sunway Pyramid for lunch and left feeling satisfied. This spot serves up authentic Cantonese-style roast meats in a nicely decorated modern Chinese setting. Despite the lunch crowd, we were seated quickly and attended to efficiently.
We ordered the signature roast duck, char siew, and roasted pork belly, along with a plate of vegetables with oyster sauce. The roast duck was juicy with crispy skin — exactly what you’d hope for. The char siew was sweet, tender, and caramelized just right. But the real surprise was the roasted pork belly — beautifully layered with a crisp, crackling top and a good fat-to-meat ratio that wasn’t overwhelming. Every bite was satisfying.
Portion sizes were fair, and food was served hot and fast. The service was brisk but efficient, typical of a busy Cantonese eatery. Prices are slightly on the premium side but well-justified given the quality and location inside a major shopping mall.
If you’re shopping at Sunway Pyramid and craving crispy roast pork or juicy duck, this is a solid place to indulge.

Disappointing Starbucks Reserve Experience at 1 Utama — Great Beans, Poor Execution
I dropped by Starbucks 1 Utama for my usual afternoon coffee fix. As someone who frequently visits Starbucks Reserve outlets across Malaysia, I was excited to try a new single-origin bean. I’d been eyeing the Laos beans and was eager for the full Reserve experience – but what I got fell far short.
Things started going downhill at the ordering counter. One barista told me the Laos beans were not available, but when I placed my order, another staff said they were. Confused but hopeful, I proceeded. What truly shocked me was at the brewing counter — the same barista who initially told me Laos wasn’t available went ahead to brew Indonesian beans without even informing me. When I stopped him to clarify, another barista stepped in and, to everyone’s surprise, found the Laos beans. This mishandling showed a severe lapse in professionalism and training.
I had selected the siphon brew method to enjoy the craft experience. Sadly, that too was handled poorly. The barista poured in the grounds after the water had already risen, showing unfamiliarity with the proper process. There was no pre-brewing bean aroma introduction, a Reserve hallmark I’ve come to expect. When the coffee was finally served, it came without the signature blend card or chocolate. I had to ask for both, only to be handed a crumpled card and told the chocolate had run out.
Despite all this, the coffee itself was still enjoyable — medium roast with subtle notes of coconut and ginger, aromatic and smooth.
The ambiance inside the café was classic Starbucks — cozy and inviting. But the poor execution at this outlet really took away from what could’ve been a great Reserve experience.

Beyond Ramen: Izakaya-Style Dining at IPPUDO Bangsar
We’ve always known IPPUDO for its rich, comforting bowls of ramen — but they’ve really stepped up by expanding their menu beyond noodles, embracing a more diverse izakaya-style concept. Our first taste of this in Penang left a great impression, and this time in Kuala Lumpur, it didn’t disappoint either.
We decided to skip the ramen and went for a selection of grilled skewers, a fresh salmon head, and a light salad. The grilled items were perfectly done, with just the right amount of char and smokiness. The salmon head was fresh and tender, while the salad balanced the meal nicely with its crisp vegetables and light dressing.
Though we didn’t order a lot (we’re not big eaters), it was more than enough and very satisfying. The cozy ambience paired with friendly service added to the pleasant dining experience. One of the servers was even kind enough to help us take some nice photos, which we always appreciate.
If you’re looking for a Japanese dinner that’s not just ramen, this branch of IPPUDO is worth checking out — well-executed food, lovely service, and a chill setting.

Batu Caves – Climbing Colors, Culture & Curious Monkeys
Batu Caves – A Spiritual and Scenic Marvel Amidst Nature
Batu Caves is truly one of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic attractions, blending natural beauty with rich religious culture. Located just a short drive from the city center, this massive limestone hill is home to a series of caves and Hindu temples, attracting both worshippers and tourists alike.
The most striking feature? The vibrant rainbow-colored staircase leading up to the main cave temple — all 272 steps of it. The climb can be a challenge for some, but it’s a rewarding ascent. Along the way, you’ll encounter a number of cheeky monkeys roaming freely and scavenging for food. Be mindful of your bags, as I even witnessed one monkey dig into a climber’s backpack in search of snacks!
At the top, the atmosphere cools down, and you’re greeted by more temples and Hindu shrines, surrounded by majestic limestone formations. The view from above is absolutely worth the effort, offering a unique perspective over the surrounding landscape.
While entrance is free, a few points to note — the area isn’t as well-kept as one might hope. Trash bins are often raided by monkeys, and public facilities like toilets were either not clearly visible or lacking. These are small drawbacks, but something to be aware of when planning your visit.
⸻
TL;DR
✅ Stunning natural limestone caves
✅ Colorful, Instagram-worthy staircase
✅ Free to enter and culturally enriching
🐒 Beware of monkeys — secure your belongings
⚠️ Area could be cleaner and lacks clear amenities

Casual Comfort at Ho Min San – A Taste of Hong Kong in Pavilion Damansara
Comforting Asian Flavours at Ho Min San – Pavilion Damansara Heights
Dropped by Ho Min San for a casual meal while exploring Pavilion Damansara Heights, and I must say, the restaurant delivered a satisfying experience overall.
The interior was clean and modern, with a cozy layout that made it easy to settle in. Service was prompt and efficient, though not particularly warm or enthusiastic. That said, everything we needed was attended to quickly, which is always appreciated.
The menu focused on comfort food with a Hong Kong–Macau twist, and we decided to go for their signature rice and noodle dishes. Portions were generous, and the food arrived fairly quickly. The lou shi fun with minced meat was hearty and had good wok hei, while the rice dishes were flavorful and paired well with their savoury sauces.
For drinks, we opted for their milk tea, which was rich and smooth—very much in line with traditional Hong Kong cha chaan teng offerings.
Prices were reasonable given the location, though perhaps just a touch above typical kopitiam pricing. Still, for a cleaner setting with air-conditioning and a mall environment, it made sense.
⸻

Roast Duck Delight at Pavilion Damansara – The Travelling Duck
The Travelling Duck – Stylish Spot with Value Lunch Sets and Great Roast Duck
Tucked inside Pavilion Damansara Heights, The Travelling Duck is a beautifully decorated restaurant that immediately catches your eye with its charming duck-themed artwork and stylish interior.
We dropped by around 11am for an early lunch and were seated quickly. Their value lunch menu stood out right away—great price point with generous portions. I ordered the noodle soup with roast duck set, which came with chawanmushi, Chinese tea, and a dessert.
The roast duck itself was excellent—crispy skin, tender meat, and flavorful through every bite. It’s clearly the star of the show. The noodle soup, however, wasn’t quite to my taste. The broth lacked depth, and the noodles were just average. That said, the chawanmushi was smooth and well-seasoned, adding a nice touch to the set.
Service was fast and friendly, which made the overall dining experience very pleasant.

Hidden Roast Gem at DC Mall – The Hub Coffee Roaster
Tucked in a cozy corner on Level 1 of DC Mall, right near the entrance to Sofitel, The Hub Coffee Roaster was the perfect spot for a light breakfast while waiting to check in.
We were drawn in by the high Google ratings—and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered an americano and a chocolate croissant. The coffee stood out immediately. Unlike the typical bold, dark roasts I’m used to, this brew had a light roast profile with a noticeable citrusy tang—a sign of carefully sourced, lightly roasted beans. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re into third-wave coffee, you’ll appreciate its character.
The croissant was served warm, with a satisfying crunch on the outside and a soft, buttery inside. A simple order, but executed very well.

Coffee, Pages & Peace in the Heart of KL 📖☕
After arriving in KL in the afternoon, I wasn’t in the mood for anything too heavy. Just wanted to unwind, take it easy, and find a cozy spot to relax. So after a short rest at the hotel, I headed over to BookXcess – a perfect place for some light exploring and photo-taking.
Nestled inside RexKL, this bookstore isn’t just about books – it’s a whole aesthetic experience. Whether you’re into taking photos or just flipping through pages, the vibe is super laid-back. And the best part? There's a café just downstairs, where I grabbed a coffee and chilled with no rush, no pressure.
✅ Opening Hours:
🕒 Daily from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Highly recommend for anyone who just landed and wants to ease into KL with a little quiet time, creativity, and caffeine.

Hilton Garden Inn KL – Great Twin Towers View Without Breaking the Bank! 🌆
#postandearn
For my KL trip, I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur (both North and South buildings on separate trips) and honestly, it was the perfect choice for what I was looking for!
🎯 My Hotel Goal
I really wanted a hotel that had a nice view of the Petronas Twin Towers and included breakfast. A lot of the apartments rent in KL have stunning Twin Towers views, but they don’t offer breakfast 🍳. And the hotels that include breakfast + a view? Way too pricey 💸.
Hilton Garden Inn checked all the boxes ✅
Twin Towers view 🌇
Tasty breakfast 🥐
And the price? Super affordable!
💵 Price Range (in USD)
Prices vary depending on the room and platform, but generally:
Room-only: around $31–$34 per night
Twin Tower view + breakfast: about $40–$60 per night
Honestly, that’s a steal for what you’re getting!
💖 What I Loved
✨ Clean and comfy rooms
🌆 Beautiful Twin Towers view right from the window
🍽️ Good breakfast with enough variety to start the day right
🤏 Minor Downsides
🛍️ It’s about a 15-minute drive to major malls and shopping spots. But I used Grab most of the time (super affordable in KL), so it didn’t really bother me.
🏊♂️ Heads-up About the Pool
Only one of the two buildings has a swimming pool, and it’s not the one with the Twin Towers view. So if you're staying in the room with the Twin Towers view and want to swim, you'll have to pop over to the other building.
One building with swimming pool focuses more on KL Tower view and the other on Twin Towers—I don’t remember exactly which is which (North or South), so it’s a good idea to ask the hotel before booking if you have a strong preference.
🔁 Would I Stay Again?
Absolutely—I stayed twice! Once in each building. That says a lot, right? 😄 It’s hard to beat the value, especially if a skyline view is a must for you like it was for me.

🔥 Char Siew Heaven at Midnight: Ming Kee SS2 Hits All the Right Notes 🍜
If you’re in SS2 late at night and craving something comforting, Ming Kee Porridge is an absolute gem that stays open into the wee hours. We dropped by around 11:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised to find the place still bustling and welcoming.
Though it was late, we were lucky to still catch some of their char siew, which looked irresistibly glossy and caramelized in the display. One thing that immediately caught our eye was a roast duck with a rich, dark hue—turns out it’s their signature Black Truffle Roast Duck! Unfortunately, it’s only available in half or whole portions, so we had to pass this time. But it’s now firmly on our must-try list.
We settled on their old-school wanton mee, and wow—what a brilliant decision.
🍜 What We Loved:
• Noodles: Cooked to perfect al dente texture with a flavorful dark soy sauce base.
• Char Siew: Easily one of the best in KL. Juicy, with perfectly charred edges, balanced fat-to-lean ratio, and a melt-in-the-mouth finish.
• Wantons: Fat and generously filled with minced meat and prawns, making each bite satisfyingly rich.
While we didn’t try the porridge this time, it’s clearly a local favorite—we saw many tables digging into bowls of it, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
⸻
Final Verdict
Ming Kee Porridge serves up some of the best late-night comfort food in SS2—with unbeatable char siew and nostalgic wanton mee. Friendly vibes, honest flavors, and hearty portions. Highly recommended!

👑 Durian Done Right: Premium Musang King at Durian Hill SS2 🌰
On our hunt for the best durian in SS2, we decided to give Durian Hill a try—and we’re glad we did. It was a spontaneous decision after dinner, and while there weren’t many durians left, that only meant one thing: business must’ve been booming.
We went with a Musang King (MSW) from Pahang, priced at RM58 per kg. Though not cheap, it was well worth the splurge for two people. The fruit was handpicked by the seller, and they chose well—creamy flesh, small seeds, and a rich, full-bodied flavor that hit the spot perfectly.
The sellers were friendly, polite, and sincerely grateful, which added to the warmth of the experience. The environment was clean and well-kept, with proper seating and even a washroom available—a big plus when you’re enjoying durian in comfort.
⸻
Final Verdict
Durian Hill SS2 offers premium durian in a clean, welcoming setting, paired with genuine service. If you’re craving a top-quality MSW experience, this spot delivers.

🌰 Durian Dreams Delivered: A Musang King Feast at DKing SS2 👑
SS2 in Petaling Jaya is well-known as a durian lover’s paradise, and DKing stands out as one of the more well-organized and inviting spots among the cluster of durian sellers in the area.
The atmosphere is lively, with multiple durian stalls and photo-worthy setups that make for a fun and unique experience. If you’ve never taken a selfie with a mountain of thorny fruit, this is your chance!
During our visit, we decided to go straight for the coveted Musang King—a must when you’re in Malaysia. The price was about SGD 20 per kilo, which isn’t dramatically cheaper than Singapore but still fair, considering the quality. The staff was helpful and honest, assisting us in selecting a good fruit based on our taste preferences.
🥭 The Durian:
• Taste: Rich, but not overpowering. Not overly sweet, which we appreciated.
• Texture: Slightly dry and creamy—exactly how I like it.
• Seeds: Small, which meant more flesh. Always a win.
We appreciated the clean and comfortable dining setup, with tables and chairs available for on-the-spot feasting. Drinks were sold separately, so it’s worth noting if you’re planning to wash it down with something cold.
⸻
Final Verdict
DKing SS2 is a durian experience done right—clean, organized, and satisfying. While prices aren’t dirt-cheap, the quality and service make it worth it for any durian lover.
