Greece🇬🇷Santorini: A Timeless Escape in Blue and White💙🤍
#mediterraneanvibes
Santorini exceeded every expectation I had. From the whitewashed houses perched on cliffs to the deep blue domes overlooking the Aegean Sea, it’s a postcard come to life. The sunsets in Oia are unlike anything I've seen before—pure magic. Whether you're wandering through charming villages, sailing around the caldera, or sipping wine from a cliffside terrace, there’s a sense of timeless beauty in everything.
The food was divine, the people welcoming, and every corner was picture-perfect. It’s a place that blends luxury and authenticity effortlessly. If you’re chasing romance, inspiration, or just peace, Santorini is where you’ll find it.

Mykonos: The Glamorous Jewel of the Aegean
#greekislandhopping
📍 Location: Mykonos Island, Cyclades, Greece
Mykonos is famed for its whitewashed houses, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful beaches. Wander through Mykonos Town (Chora) with its charming alleys, iconic windmills, and waterfront Little Venice. Relax at beaches like Psarou and Paradise, or explore quieter spots like Agios Sostis. The island blends luxury with traditional Cycladic beauty.
Tips:
• Visit in May–June or September for great weather without peak-season crowds.
• Book beach clubs, restaurants, and ferries well in advance in summer.
• Explore the nearby sacred island of Delos on a day trip.

Naxos islamd in Greece 🇬🇷
#traveldiaries
Just got back from Naxos Island, and I’m already missing it! 🏝️ This place has everything you could want in a Greek getaway—stunning beaches, rich history, and amazing food. One of my favorite spots was Plaka Beach, a long stretch of golden sand and clear, turquoise waters. Best part? No entrance fees for most beaches! You can just pick a spot, relax, and enjoy the views. If you’re into history, don’t miss the Portara, the ancient temple ruins right by the port—it’s free and the sunset views from there are unforgettable 🌅.
The island is also full of charming villages like Halki, where I wandered through narrow streets and tasted local Kitron (a citrus liqueur). Don’t skip a visit to the Temple of Demeter—only a few euros to enter, and the site is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Naxos is not as crowded as some of the other islands, making it feel like a hidden gem.

The Windmills of Santorini & History 🩵
There is historic importance of windmills in Santorini. Today just a few have been restored and some others have been transformed into inhabited houses or hotels while others still needs renovations.
Around 70 historic Windmills in Santorini, some long time ago abandoned in the island as well as the capital of Thira (Fira)
In our knowledge, the windmills were in use on Santorini as early as the 14th-century, however due to turbulent history (earthquakes and volcanic activity) none of these early settlement of structures remain standing to this day.
Although you’ll still find handful of windmills remain on the island-as I mentioned above the most of them since has been converted into hotels, accommodations and holiday rental homes. Today’s Santorini windmills that remains in the island were constructed from the 17th-century onwards, then converted dating from the 18th-century.

The largest of the Cyclades, Naxos
We booked a ferry from Santorini, it’s also easily reach from Mykonos and Paros. A spot is for relaxing, Naxos island has a long, sandy beaches, while middle of island’s surrounded by farms, olive groves, mountains, charming traditional villages, ancient temple ruins, and many Byzantine churches. There are fewer crowds compared to other islands nearby, with its turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, the island of Naxos is combined with ancient ruins, traditional Greek cuisines and seafood restaurants and beach culture.

Colourful Tinos Island ❤️💙🤍🩷
Only 20 minutes away from Mykonos by ferry, Tinos described by philosopher Cornelius Castoriadis as the “handmade island,” is one of the underexposed island destination in the Cyclades. Explore this charming and a quiet, authentic Greek island, still not visited as much as other nearby of islands like Mykonos and Santorini. It’s the third biggest island of the Cyclades, there are great villages around 50, and most of their restaurants are traditional taverns. The most iconic place to visit; Holy Church of the Virgin Mary Evangelistria at Tinos, it’s is located on a hill up Chora, the capital of Tinos. #Tinos #cyclades #greekisland #Seltravels

Saturday well spent in Fira centre
Spent a good lunch overlooking the Caldera in Fira centre in a Greek restaurant.
Went for fried calamari and a traditional Gemista (stuffed bell peppers with rice)
Had a short walk and had a break for a natural frozen yogurt (Chill Box) at the heart of Fira centre.
Went for x2 drinks ( a glass of wine + cocktail) after sunset at the lovely Paliakameni Cocktail Bar overlooking Caldera (PK cocktail bar )
Spent a total of 50€ in a day
Well spent and good value for a perfect Saturday!#cyclades #passionpassport #foodie
Autumn sunset
Start a good walk from Fira centre towards direction of Pyrgos, begin slowly at 17:00 hrs.
Enjoy the open caldera view by the national road.
It’s an open view so you can find a good spot at an angle of your preference and get a spot to sit, get comfy.
Watch as the sun slowly descends, creating a beautiful sunset colour on the Aegean Sea.
Breathtaking.#cyclades #passionpassport #sunset
Grand Canyon experience in Cyclades
Visiting Sarakiniko is spectacular/ breathtaking BOTH in sunset hours or during the day!
The experience being surrounded by the white volcanic rocks caused by the salt from the sea water evokes memories of my Grand Canyon tour.
(only this is smaller compared to Arizona)
I’m equally amazed and speechless as i stood in front of this beach surrounded by the unique shapes of the rocks… Been wanting to visit for a longgggg time, glad i managed to get a ferry from Santorini and did a 4 days stay in Milos island.
This beach is easily accessible by bus or a short drive from Adamas port.#cyclades #passionpassport #sunset #volcanicrocks #miloscyclades #santorini

Syros Island Cyclades Greece
#myhiddengems
#greece #cyclades #island #Syros If you're looking for a tranquil yet culturally rich Greek island experience, Syros should be at the top of your list. I recently spent four days on this enchanting island and found it to be the perfect blend of relaxation, history, and culinary delights.
**Relaxation & Beaches:**
Syros offers a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for unwinding. The beaches, while not as famous as those on other Cycladic islands, are absolutely charming. Galissas Beach is a must-visit with its golden sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for a leisurely swim. For a quieter spot, head to Kini Beach, where you can enjoy a more serene environment and stunning sunsets.
**Cultural Experience:**
Syros is the cultural heart of the Cyclades. The capital, Ermoupoli, is a vibrant city with a fascinating blend of Venetian and neoclassical architecture. Walking through its marble-paved streets, you’ll discover beautiful buildings, historic churches like the impressive Agios Nikolaos, and lively squares. Don’t miss the chance to visit the Apollo Theater, a miniature version of La Scala in Milan, which hosts various cultural events throughout the year.
**Food:**
The food on Syros is another highlight. The island boasts a rich culinary tradition with many restaurants offering authentic Greek dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. Be sure to try the "loukoumia" (Greek delight) and the island's famous cheese, "San Michali." Dining in Ermoupoli is a treat, with many waterfront tavernas serving delicious seafood and traditional Greek fare. A meal at "Ousyra" or "Mazi" is a must for anyone looking to enjoy contemporary Greek cuisine in a stylish setting.
