I recently stayed at Hatten Hotel Malacca and had a wonderful experience. The hotel location make it a perfect base to explore Malacca. It is located in the heart of historical Malacca and within walking distance to the famous Jonker Street. Checking in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. Toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities os provided. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows are plush. The breakfast spread was sumptous and wonderful. The variety of food displayed was just acceptable. Jypsy which is located at One Fullerton is a contemporary Japanese restaurant. With its outdoor seating, you get to enjoy your food with a stunning harbour view. Try to plan your dinner time to coincide with the MBS watershow. The view of MBS, the harbour, the watershow and the light display is spectacular. The menu at Jypsy is sure to please any palate. They provide a wide range of dishes to choose from. We start off our meal with beef and garlic tsukune stick. Beef was so tender paired with an amazing sauce. We then had spicy lobster roll which have a very unique flavour. We shared 2 mains. Takoyaki lovers will love the Ika pizza. It was packed with calamari and the bread crust was soft. The prawn and unagi aglo olio was flavourful. The prawn was fresh and the unagi just melt in our mouth. We paid abt SGD100 per person for all the food with three drinks. Jonker Walk is in the Chinatown area in Malacca. It starts from across Malacca River and the street is filled with historical houses along its left and right sides. Many of which are shops selling antiques, textiles, foods, handicrafts and souvenirs such as keychains and shirts. Jonker Walk turns into a night market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. until 12 midnight. Dont worry about safety as its street blocked for traffic. There are a huge range of wonderful things to buy and eat here. You’ll find stalls selling everything from souvenirs, food produce, clothing, toys, jewellery and accessories, temporary tattoos, art prints. Food such as coconut ice-cream, curried fish balls, pineapple tart and steamed buns can be found here. There are so many things to do and eat at Jonker Street Night Market. We were walking around Mahkota Parade Malacca to find a restaurant while waiting to check-in into our hotel room. We decided to eat at Tony Roma's as the front staff was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We ordered the potato skin as starter and the combo lunch as the mains. We were not dissapointed. The potato skin was crispy and delicious. The beef ribs and beef medallion was so tender and was cooked perfectly. It was a great lunch. We visited Nami Island in Autumn and it was absolutely stunning. Autumn is filled with golden foliage and cooler temperatures from September to November. We heard from our guide that Nami Island is excellent all year but the most popular times are Autumn for the stunning foliage. It is the season that brings happiness to faces just by looking at their surroundings. Experiencing Nami Island in Autumn will just take your breath away. Serai was recommended by a friend. We choose to go to their outlet in KL East Mall. The decor was nice. It make us feel at home instantly. Service crew was polite, fast and attentive. We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking from hongdae to our hotel. We decoded to give it a try a few days later as we miss malay food. Restaurant was small and cosy. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are able to converse in English. We came slightly after lunch time so there was not much patron and we did not need to wait long for our food to be served. the reason for us to travel to South Korea was to visit Alpaca World. We book a tour to bring us there. In Alpaca World, we learn about the animal and its characteristic from the on site Alpaca experts. We decided to stay at Marriot Harbour Bay due to its provimity to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. it was accessible as it was literally connected to the Ferry terminal via the 1st and 2nd Floor. reception was friendly and helpful. A ride in Songdo cable car is definitely worth the money. You get to enjoy rhe amazing view of songdo beach and its coast from atop. We opted for the Crystal cabin which have transparent floor. U can have the normal cabin too. We bought the round trip ticket which cost us KRW22000/pax. Definitely worth it! Getting There - take bus no. 6 from nampo station. its abt 6 stops away. Cheongsapo Daritol Observatory was not on our list to visit while in Busan. we saw the skywalk while taking the blueline park train. We get to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Although it was hot in summer, there was a lot of breeze. Not for those who is frighten of height as some part of the bridge is made of clear glass. It is free entry but you have to wear a protective cover for your shoes. Found this gem of a restaurant while heading to Coex Starfield library. They serve contemporary Middle Eastern food. The garlic hummus is amazing. The chicken and the lamb was perfectly done. The salad dressing taste amazing too! The staffs are friendly and are able to converse in english. Haeundae Blue Line Park goes from Haneundae Mipo through Cheongsapo and to Songjeong for a total of 4.8 kilometers. The park renovated an old railroad tracks for a tourist coastal train. You can ride the beach train and sky capsule. Best to make a reservation before you go as the waiting queue is long. Train ride is about 15 mins while the capsule ride is about 30 mins. After being in Italian food for 10 days, we decided to google for Thai food in Firenze. This restaurant was the top of the search result. It was abt 1km away from SMN train station. It was 10 mins by tram. Restaurant was small but cosy with nice ambient lighting. Service was fast. We receive our food in less than 20 mins. We dont eat pork.
