The place is so colorful. The pedestrian is clean. The villagers are friendly. So many instagramable spot can be found here. I came here in the afternoon after 3PM local time. The weather is not too hot. The sun lights give you perfect shot. I also spotted some foreign tourist here and using drone to take pictures or videos. The entrance fee is IDR 3000 per person. #springitinerary I finally made it to Jodipan Village, famously known as Rainbow Village in Malang. Once one of Indonesia’s largest slums, this riverside neighborhood by the Brantas River has been completely transformed — all thanks to a group of university students who believed that art could change lives. What started as a student project in 2016 turned into a powerful story of revival and pride. The houses are now painted in vibrant colors, with murals everywhere — from staircases to rooftops. Walking through it felt like stepping inside a giant coloring book. The entrance fee is just 10K IDR, and if you want to cross the high bridge to the other side, it's another 5K. I spent about 30 minutes wandering, taking photos, and just soaking in how creativity gave this once-forgotten place a new identity. It’s not a big place and doesn’t take long to explore, but it leaves a lasting impression. Jodipan is a neighbourhood in Malang city in East Java and it’s known as the rainbow village because of it brightly coloured houses. If you’re visiting Malang, it is definitely worth a visit. Jodipan is possibly the most colourful village onearth.
