That instantly brought back memories of my very first wax museum experience in Amsterdam seven years ago, so my husband and I made a spontaneous decision to check it out! I can't recall the exact ticket price, but it was roughly €25 per person (we bought a double ticket directly). Before we even went in, the staff gave us a cool heads-up: "Feel free to pose with and touch all the wax figures, just be careful not to damage anything!" Started my morning with a walk through Fort Canning Park — peaceful, lush, and layered with history. It’s amazing how this hill in the middle of the city holds stories from Singapore’s ancient past to colonial times. The shady trails, old gates, and quiet corners made it such a refreshing start to the day. Midway through exploring, I stumbled upon Tiong Bahru Bakery, and naturally, I had to stop. Their croissants are as flaky and buttery as everyone says, and the coffee hit the spot — a perfect surprise break. Recharged, I continued wandering through the park, past heritage walls and spice gardens, just letting the morning unfold slowly.
