A Journey Through Innovation, History, and Beauty: Kansai and Beyond
My trip through Kansai and nearby regions was absolutely unforgettable! The 2025 Osaka Expo was a major highlight — the futuristic designs, innovative exhibits, and vibrant energy made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Okayama Castle was striking with its unique black exterior and beautiful surrounding gardens. In Kurashiki, I wandered through charming historic streets along the peaceful canal — it felt like a journey back in time.
Takamatsu was another highlight, especially Ritsurin Garden, which was stunning in every season. Hiroshima left a lasting impression with its powerful history and the moving Peace Memorial Park. The atmosphere there was deeply emotional and inspiring. Kobe, with its stylish port area, lively streets, and amazing food, brought a cosmopolitan charm to the trip that perfectly balanced the historical sites.
Traveling between cities was smooth and convenient, thanks to Japan’s excellent transportation system. Each place had its own character and story to tell, and experiencing them together gave me a deeper appreciation for Japan’s culture, resilience, and creativity. This trip perfectly blended modern excitement with deep cultural heritage — I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan!

Exploring Shikoku Island's Kagawa Prefecture: Ise Asahiyama Main Shrine
At the highest point of Asahiyama stands the Ise Asahiyama Main Shrine. While it may not be a well-known shrine, visitors are primarily drawn to the nearby observation deck for cherry blossom viewing.
Close to the shrine, you'll also find the Asahiyama Museum and an observation point on the 3rd floor of the building, both offering excellent elevated views of the cherry blossoms.
Visit Date: April 5, 2025.
Exploring Kagawa Prefecture in Shikoku: Cherry Blossom Viewing at Kotohiki Park
Kotohiki Park is one of the popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Kagawa Prefecture and Kanonji City. The main cherry blossom area is a narrow zone between the entrance of Kotohiki Hachiman Shrine and Kanda River, where the cherry trees are densely packed. The scenery is enhanced by small bridges and flowing streams, creating a picturesque view.
The park is about a 10-15 minute walk from JR Kanonji Station, and an additional 5-minute walk will take you to the Zenigata Sand Painting and Ariake Beach.
Visit Date: April 5, 2025.
City Walk in Seoul and Suwon
In March, I flew to Korea for the first time this year, coinciding with a band's concert, so I took the opportunity to travel for a few days. This time, I happened to come across the newly opened Hello Kitty themed cafe in Myeongdong. It's really cute, filled with Kitty 🐱. You need to scan a QR code at the entrance to make a reservation before dining and taking photos. The third floor is for purchasing merchandise without a reservation, while the second and first floors are dining areas, all decorated with adorable Hello Kitty themes 😍. If you like it, you should check it out!
The next day, I finally explored Suwon, a city near Seoul. Initially, I went there to visit the filming locations of the drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One,' but I found the city to be very pleasant and comfortable 😌. There are many small shops and restaurants, perfect for leisurely strolling without rushing. The weather was also nice. I also visited another attraction, the Starfield Library, located in a mall. Each floor has small seating areas where you can quietly read and enjoy coffee. It's worth a visit! You can get there by taking a one-hour subway ride from Seoul or a 30-minute KTX ride, which is super convenient 😆.
Accommodation in the center of Sriracha, with a beautiful pool view🌅
#tripแจกโรงแรมฟรี
Somerset Harbourview Sri Racha 🌆
Another interesting destination in #2025 is Sriracha because there are many places to visit, including Koh Sichang or if you want to take your kids to see #หมูเด้ง at Khao Kheow, it's not far. This place is located in the heart of Sriracha, only 5 minutes from Koh Loi Pier.
The highlight here, in addition to the good location, is the outdoor swimming pool area with a beautiful view. You can see the sea view, the pier and Koh Sichang. You can also see the full view of Sriracha. On the same floor as the swimming pool, there is a fitness room and a sauna.
There are many types of rooms to choose from. We chose to stay in the One Bedroom Executive room, a good size room, divided into a living room and a bedroom. There is a small kitchen for cooking. There is an iron and a washing machine. It is convenient like living in a condo.
Breakfast is on the 1st floor. It is served as a buffet from 5:30-10:00 AM. The food line has a variety of Thai and international menus.
For dinner, we went to Atara Sky Bar & Bistro at Oakwood Hotel & Residence SriRacha. It is an Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a beautiful view. Most importantly, the food is very delicious. The menu that Wan and Fuk recommend is the pizza. The dough is very thin and crispy. The other menus are also delicious. You have to try it.

Kalm Village: A Hidden Gem in Chiang Mai's Old City
Kalm Village is located in Chiang Mai's Old City. As you navigate through the winding streets, you will discover this wooden structure.
The entire building is surrounded by large trees, making it feel very cool even in 35-degree heat. Inside the Village, there are restaurants, cafes, and craft shops. Additionally, yoga classes are offered, with staff at the counter ready to assist with registration. Even when I just made an inquiry, I felt the politeness and attentiveness of the ladies.
If you've seen enough temples in the Old City, I recommend taking a break at Kalm Village.
Graph Cafe Phuket
Graph Café Phuket ☕✨ (The Art of Coffee in the Southern Sea City)
🌟 A café that brews creativity into a cup of coffee:
Graph Café is not just a coffee shop, but a stage for the art of taste and design in a minimalist atmosphere mixed with an industrial feel. Every cup is a conversation between coffee and meticulousness that is intended to be delivered directly to you.
🔥 Highlights that make it different:
• Untrend menu: Don't expect to find basic menus because this place emphasizes creating new experiences with a variety of coffee beans.
• Flavors with a story: Every cup has a clear concept, such as coffee mixed with sour fruits or dark roast coffee with hidden chocolate notes.
• Unspoken decoration: Every corner of the shop reflects simplicity but timeless coolness.
🔥 Must-try menus:
• Black Yuzu: Strong espresso mixed with fresh yuzu juice Create a refreshing yet powerful taste
• Dirty Honey: A sweet layer of milk mixed with rich coffee and wild honey
• Pour Over Selection: For those who love a sophisticated coffee sip
📍 Location: Phuket Old Town, in a small alley full of nostalgic charm
🕰️ Opening-closing hours: Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
🚗 Getting there: It is recommended to walk or use a motorbike because the alley is narrow and parking is difficult
🎯 Notes:
• This place doesn't just make coffee, but intends to serve "good feelings" in a glass
• There are many photo spots, but it is recommended to come to sip coffee with intention rather than just liking

Guangzhou Wong Tai Sin|Ancient Taoist "Chisong Temple"⛩️
Take you to Guangzhou "Wong Tai Sin"❗️
The mysterious palace recently opened in Panyu, feel the influence of Taoist culture, and make a good wish for 2025.
▪️The predecessor of Chisong Palace was Pushan Pujitan in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. It is currently the largest gourd-shaped building complex in the country. The overall style is traditional Taoist. Walking through it gives you a feeling of dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty!
▪️This temple was built to commemorate Wong Tai Sin. Chisong Wong Tai Sin was originally named Huang Chuping, a famous Taoist deity during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wong Tai Sin was born in a poor family. When he was fifteen, he met the immortal Guangchengzi in the mountains and was taken to a stone chamber in Jinhua Mountain to practice. He eventually became an immortal. After becoming an immortal, he often helped poor and kind people and responded to their requests!

Blu Monkey Hub & Hotel Bangsaen 🏝️
Pin another hotel worth staying in #2025
This place has just opened not long ago. Everything is still brand new.
The design is beautiful, chic, cool, and unique. I like the control.
The building's orange brick tone is striking. The location is also good, close to
the beach, both Bangsaen Beach and Wonnapa Beach.
#Photo corners There are so many here. You can
take photos from the front of the hotel, the entrance,
the lobby, the guest rooms, to the rooftop swimming pool.
#Rooms have many types to choose from according to your style.
You can come to stay alone or as a family.
As for us, the 2 of us stayed in the Chimpanzee Bath
Pod Suite Seaview room. The room is very spacious. The room is clearly divided between the bedroom and the living room.
There are 2 bathrooms, a dining table corner, a work corner,
and a Jacuzzi on the balcony. I recommend soaking in the water.
When the sun sets, it's the best.
#Swimming pool is on the rooftop. It's an Infinity
Pool with a 180-degree view of the sea. There are orange monkeys.
Located at the edge of the pool, the white pool contrasts with the orange floor.
It's chic. There is a sitting area by the pool here to take
beautiful photos. In addition to the swimming pool, there is also a
fitness, kids club and a meeting room.

5N4D Journey in Taiwan!
The 5N4D journey in Taiwan is about to end.
4 nights in the 4 largest cities including: Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung.
In addition to the spiritual values such as: a family trip to a new country, understanding more about the culture - history - people of Taiwan, leaving footprints in the cities visited, experiencing food tours from the streets to luxury restaurants.
I have 2 lessons learned:
1. The language barrier is what prevents tourists from experiencing local restaurants, no matter how delicious - nutritious - cheap, especially at tourist destinations. Most restaurants, hotel receptionists, taxi drivers cannot communicate in English. Understand the feeling 10 years ago in tourism, at that time Funny Weekend, although just a startup, was booked by many mid-range and high-end customers. ChatGPT can almost replace tour guides at tourist attractions, it is almost an encyclopedia, but AI cannot replace the tour guide's experience in food, communication, culture. Most of the restaurants suggested by ChatGPT or Google reviews do not "fit" the criteria I want.
=> "Private Tour" tourism is still a trend that AI cannot replace, and will continue to develop in the future. After this trip, I see the potential to return to tourism in the future.
2. Feeling helpless when not being able to communicate with local people because I have not really focused on learning Chinese even though the goal set 2 years ago was to master this language.
=> More motivation and determination to learn and master Chinese this year.
Life is like a book, traveling a day, learning a lot of knowledge is not wrong.
